Razan’s organic kitchen is the Oldest Organic restaurant in Berkeley, established in 1993. We offer Mediterranean and plates, burritos and wraps. All our meals are freshly prepared and cooked with the certified and local organic ingredients. Also, Fresh-squeezed orange and carrot juices and smoothies enliven your meals!
We sincerely believe that organic and fresh ingredients are the essence of healthy and prosperous lifestyle. Our concern is to make you feel GREAT after you eat our food. For that fact, we daily handpick our vegetables and fruits and make sure that they’re fresh organic, and free of chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. For the meats, we get grass fed beef and lamb that are Free of Antibiotic and Hormones.

Found this place on a whim and was blown away! My friends and I all ordered the Mediterranean plate and were floored by how delicious each side was. The falafel were big, moist on the inside, and crispy on the outside, doused in the creamiest tahini.

Pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal with little to no expectations. Not kid friendly and not loads of elbow room but it was a pleasant experience overall. We’ll be returning but not dining in if we can help it. Seems to be understaffed as well.. the waiter did great but he could use some help though it would be tight.

Friendly staff and delicious fresh food. I usually order over the phone and pick up and never have any problems with my orders. The last time I visited I ordered at the counter and got to meet the people that work there. Very friendly people. I was offered fresh falafel for my wrap. So I waited an extra 5 minutes for freshly made falafel. While I waited for my food the chef brought a sample of fries with the tajini sauce. It was tasty but the best part is that everything is organic.
