In love and in awe, the entire meal was delicious!!! It was so hard to choose just one meal I wanted to try it all. Also I’ve been on a search in all of Atlanta for the best Mac and cheese I found it here!!! Not to mention the amazing staff that were friendly and answered all my questions despite the busy Sunday rush; that they handled with such high class and service with genuine smiles and efficient service. Delicious every time we go! Especially the sausage, ribs, yams, and Mac and cheese. All the vegetables are tasty. The vegetable medley had a lot of zucchini.

There were different cooks (non-Afro American) there today and let’s just say the Mac and cheese was runny, noodles undercooked, seasoning was off, and just plain old nasty. Everything was different. Yams and collard greens lacked the “razzle dazzle” they normally have. There wasn’t enough sauce on the meet. I just wasted my money! It’s consistency that keeps customers coming back. If you hire new cooks make sure you teach them your recipes and make sure they know how to execute because uh un I’m officially giving them a long break after today!

Stopped by for some BBQ goodness and here’s the scoop: The brisket? Respectable, although it played a bit hard to get with the fork – a tad on the tough side. But let’s talk about that BBQ sauce – oh boy, it was like a symphony for my taste buds. Ray’s punch? More like a delightful hug in a glass! Now, the Mac and cheese, it was decent; not gonna steal the show but certainly not a dish I’d kick off my plate. Overall, a tasty outing with some memorable moments.

I missed an opportunity to take a picture of the star of the show! I devoured the salmon chowder and by the time I thought about it, it was no longer picture perfect! I did however catch the supporting casts. Fried chicken, meatloaf and turkey wings! Everything was reasonably priced and fresh to order. This place was fantastically yummy! We fully enjoyed our meals and will definitely come back for more. Next time I will attempt one of their oversized cookies and sweet potato pie!

This is the reason why I read reviews and try to order accordingly. Why did everyone else get decent food and I got the scraps? Burnt tips, excessively dry Mac, tart greens. It was probably because I ordered through the app, they didn’t care about what I would get. I’m so upset, smh and I just know They’re not going to refund my money.

This was my first time visiting Rays and I was very impressed! Great prices, Ray was super chill and friendly! Ha gave me samples to taste before i bought it and was just a very nice person overall. The jerk sauce and rib tips are so AMAZING! It has just enough kick to it and the meat is very juicy! The mac and cheese has such a unique flavor to it nothing like i’ve tasted before. I also tried his punch for my drink and it was absolutely delicious! I’m glad i’m stopped by. I also got my food super fast and i was completely satisfied.
