Let me just tell you about this phenomenal “hole in the wall” of a place!! Our meal was freaking delicious!! It came out as ordered and piping hot!! My burger was cooked to perfection and the onion rings were on point!! My husband’s meal of pulled pork with baked beans and fried okra was superb!! If you are ever out and hungry give this place a try! Atmosphere was relaxed and chill. The waitress was very personable and a lot of fun! Absolutely loved the whole experience and will do it again! 5 stars just doesn’t seem like enough for how great everything was

I came across this place last week online. It’s not far from us and thought we would try it this weekend. Wow! This is a little local place that we never knew was there and the food and atmosphere was awesome.

My patient recommended this spot to me. Said you have the best BBQ in town. Fresh food, tender as all get out, falls write off the bone. My husband and I enjoyed the meal. Thank you

Not a big fan of restaurants that are mostly a bar, but came because of the good reviews of the food. The place was very empty, but is was also a weekday and around 4 pm. The servers were super nice. Food was good, the decor is cozy and very typical of a bar atmosphere.

This is my family’s all-time favorite BBQ restaurant. It’s family owned for at least 3 generations. While their BBQ is delicious, there wings and brisket are my personal favorites. If you want a great chef salad ask if Casey is working. His are the best. Everyone is treated like family the minute they walk in the door. Sometimes you may get lucky enough to get a slice of one of Butch’s homemade cakes.

Severely understaffed but the waitress still did an amazing job juggling it all. She would get 5 stars. Stopped in for early dinner while on business, the food was just not up to par. Brisket was dry and tough, pulled pork was stringy and lacked flavor. Chicken had good flavor but was dry. Skin had awkward texture and ribs were just okay. The sauce given on the side was very good but everything needed it. Potato salad was very good. Slaw was bland. Hopefully some effort can be out back into the quality.

I have always loved this place. Never disappointed when it came to the great taste of their food. But I ate there last night and as the night went on I got super nauseous after eating the ribs and pork and by this morning I could barely roll out of bed to get to the bathroom. Now today I have sour stomach with indigestion and diarrhea, complete weakness to where I can’t get out of bed. I thought maybe it was just my stomach being sensitive to something else but my daughter had ate what I had left over and she’s had the same symptoms as well. Pretty much we have food poisoning. I just want people to be aware. I don’t know what happened if the food was left out too long and reheated or just contaminated with raw meat. It has completely ruined my appetite for ray’s so I most likely will not be back in the future so It won’t happen again. 57 dollars for 2 pork and rib plates and a side of fried pickles just to get food poisoning.

We were passing through and the place we originally had planned on going to was closed. I was not impressed with the bbq pork. My sides were good. Fried Okra and tater tots. Bbq sauce was skimpy. Prices were okay. Wait staff was friendly but overworked. The whole place didn’t seem like it was run well. There did appear to be several people who were regulars. Tawnee said her burger was very good. I would not eat there again.

Been around Texas, Mississippi, Kansas City – this is my first Carolina BBQ experience. Flavor-less meat (no smoke) the smoked brisket and pulled pork didn’t have any smoky flavor. Nice people, bean casserole and fried jalapenos were great but was disappointed in the quality overall.
