Outstanding delicious food! I had the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and veggies.The veggies were good the mashed potatoes were on point. The gravey that bathed the potatoes was home made and delicious. The pork chops were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They were moist and juicy. My friend had the meatloaf special. I tasted it and it was the best meatloaf I have ever had.The tea was fresh brewed for us and was wonderfully refreshing. We will definitely be back when we travel north on I 69 to leave the valley. I recommend this little DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH 100 PERCENT!! RAYS’S CAFE IN ROBSTOWN!

Stopped in at lunchtime on a Wednesday. I had the Wednesday special fried chicken. It came with mashed potatoes and corn. The fried chicken was delicious. Well seasoned and cooked perfect. Juicy, not at all greasy. My wife had the hamburger steak and she thought it was delicious too. They have good baked desserts. I had the pineapple cupcake, just awesome.

I got the BBQ plate which included Barbacoa in it. And it was amazing and not greasy like some other places. It reminded me of how my grandma used to prepare it. They have fresh tortillas as well! 10/10 recommend.

I stopped by Rays cafe for breakfast. Wowi. I’m a Dallas resident in Corpus Christi for a fishing trip weekend and someone in Corpus said the best barbarcoa is at Ray’s Cafe in Robbstown. Listen here !! A 20 min drive is definitely worth it. I can honestly say I just tasted the best barbarcoa EVER. Kudos to the chef. We need to steal the chef’s recipe.!!
