Ok. This is the place to eat. As soon as you walk through the front door you can tell the food is going to be amazing and made with love. Eating here is the destination. I had the fresh cooked Tomato pie. It tasted absolutely fresh and it was probably grown in the garden. This is the place I would drive 3 hours to eat. Check out the pictures

Best burger I’ve had in years. And the salmon sandwich had a roumalade to die for. The big surprise was the cornbread salad. What a treat all around! We purchased the smoked gouda pimento cheese to go. Oh my! A quart may not make it through the week.

Ray’s at the Bank is always delicious (especially the oysters, shrimp cocktail, rib-eye, and bread pudding!), but specifically we had our wedding reception there and the food was such a huge hit. Having good food at our wedding was our number one priority and Katrina really went above and beyond to make the midcentury vision come to life. Ray’s has such a good vibe inside and the staff is always friendly as well. We live in Huntsville but we try to eat lunch or dinner there every time we come to town and can not recommend it enough to anyone looking for a great meal in the Shoals.

Service was slow but I think it was more or less a hold up in the kitchen. It took an hour just to get raw oysters. All in all the service and food was good. We spent a total of 2 hours waiting on food.

The atmosphere was good but the food was horrible. We had a party of 10 and almost everyone’s food was wrong. Way overpriced for the meal we got. Would not recommend if you are looking for a great steak, fish or lobster.

Not what I was expecting. Took around 45 minutes to get our main course and my friend got a nice burger that was brought out with a bag of plain Lay’s potato chips. Not even already on the plate, in a bag like I remember getting in sack lunches at school. Small menu with a few off the menu specials. Everything is way overpriced for what it is. I paid $30 for two not quiet patty sized crab cakes which were good but the price just doesn’t make sense. If this is suggested to you I would pass on this one. The only fantastic part about this place was our waitress Kaitlyn. Thats where the second star comes from. Do not recommend.

The food is WAY overpriced for the quality. Do not order the burgers!! We also thought it strange that a restaurant this expensive put a bag of Lay’s chips on the plate next to the burger. My daughter and son ordered them and the burger fell apart. That would be excusable if it tasted good, but that was not the case. The food we ordered was just okay. Again, not worth the price. The service was awesome though. They kept our glasses full and were on top of things. Probably won’t be back.

This is a really nice place in a very very small town. Florence is a small town that is finding its place on the map. The food was very good, with selections you would find at a New York City bistro. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. This is a great indication that their kitchen is too.
