Soooooooo…..I was wondering why they were only opened 3 days out of the week. I was HOPING it was because the food was so good they packed in the people over the weekend. Well, unfortunately, it is because the prices are absolutely insane for the quality, but most importantly, the amount of food for the dollar. I should have been suspicious when we pulled up Friday afternoon and there was room to park. The service was great, the food was mediocre and the prices per portion were disgraceful. We could have visited NUMEROUS restaurants in the New Orleans area and got more and better food for the same price or a few dollars more. I hate doing these kind of reviews, BUT I have to keep it real. We won’t be returning and hope that this gets the owners thinking a little bit. Mind you, I have owned a food truck, catering and brick and motor building in Wisconsin and we had better pricing and product. And I sourced it all from Louisiana as this is where I am from. Sorry but not so sorry Rayner’s, this is a result of greediness in my opinion. Best of luck in the future but I would rethink my portions or pricing. If you go there it’s on you. But I warned you.

Best catfish ever. Light fine corn meal batter. My favorite the pickled green tomato. Omg you have got to stop if you are thinking about it.

It was good. Bone in catfish was a little small didn’t get much meat off of it.. We will order the catfish strips next time. Didn’t like that we had to pay extra $3 to share a platter. Just for a small plate to put my stuff on it. A little pricey.

I’ve passed this place many times and never stopped by. I was celebrating my fiancé birthday with him, and he suggested this place. He said they were great. And my ole my he didn’t lie. The food was wonderful. I had oysters and shrimp. He enjoyed the fish. I knew the Hushpuppies and corn bread had to be great considering there was a sign telling how much it was to purchase their batter. The staff was great. 10 out of 10, I do recommend.

Too bad I hav to give one star… they should get none…. the food used to b good there… now it is way over priced and was cold and the people were rude….. Bet I don’t waste my money there ever again

Lovely little place with extremely friendly and great staff. My only complaint is the largest seafood platter i can get more food for my money elsewhere. It is expensive for what you get…other than that the food was delicious.
