The sandwiches are good, but unfortunately just average. I was hoping for something more unique for the price I paid. Honestly I could get this sandwich anywhere. The store however did offer an assortment of all kinds of Italian cuisine, which was great.

Recently renovated this centerpiece of Old Oakland is truly a stalwart of great sandwiches, friendly staff as well a chill atmosphere inside. There’s seating outside for those still a bit squeamish of that indoors. While the city will soon remove the seating on the street, there’s plenty of room inside as well there’s always to go.

They make the best tasting sandwiches! My go to is their ratatouille sandwich (I’m vegetarian) . The staff is super friendly, quick and there is an assortment of ingredients to browse while you wait or sit outside in their patio! This has become my go to lunch spot and quick grocery store in a pinch (or if I am trying to be fancy and make a charcuterie board). Definitely worth the price, it’s a staple in the community!

Absolutely one of the best cold cut deli sandwich places around. Not only that but the staff here is absolutely minted. I’ve been coming here for so so long with my family it’s not even funny. They also offer their own crafted olive oil and balsamic vinegars. You can buy meat by the pound, cheese by the pound, pre-made fruit salads, and chicken or tuna salad. Whether you’re looking a sandwich, soup, or deli meat this is definitely the place to go! Oh yeah did I mention that the staff is very friendly and super efficient!

I love when I remember to come here before close! Their sandwiches and potato salad are so good. They do not spare on toppings, when you buy a sandwich you’re buying two meals! I love the literally bit of a Italian grocery store they have as well!
