We wanted something new and came across Rasoi in Chesapeake. Best decision! The staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant gave great vibes and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was very tasty! Try their sweet naan, I can’t wait to order it again. My kids chowed down on the makhani chicken curry. They loved it! We will make this one of our go to spots!

Simply the very best Indian cuisine to be found in Chesapeake! Very authentic, not “Americanized” so each item has just the perfect amount of spice. Try their buffet-there’s none better in Chesapeake. Service is top notch, always greeted by Brittany or Lawry upon entering, they both are exceptional in their service, the food is always fresh, try it, you will not go wrong, 5 stars all the way around!

Awesome place. Bittney(?) the manager was also an awesome waitress, very knowledgeable about every dish that was on the buffet for lunch. Will highly recommend to friends and will certainly be back for dinner service. They do not have any TVs so no cricket in here. 🙁

My wife & I recently visited Rasoi IV Authentic Indian Cuisine for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items, which made ordering a breeze. The restaurant offers a great selection of Indian cuisine, and I was pleased with the options available.

My 1st time here and I loved it. The food was amazing!!!! We got Mutter Paneer and Navratan Korma. This was my 1st time trying the Korma and it was sooooo delicious! I will definitely be coming back for that again. I liked that they had an entire page of vegetarian options. I’ve driven by this shopping center and never noticed this restaurant was here. I’m looking forward to trying the buffet they have for lunch on Sundays. I don’t eat enough to get my money’s worth but I like being able to sample new dishes. If you like Indian food, you have to try this place!

My family and I love coming to the most authentic Indian restaurant in Hampton Roads! They have the best food and customer service! Our server Brittany is always amazing! She’s on top of her game with her awesome (and fast) customer service skills! She’s so friendly and knowledgeable of everything Indian, and makes all of the customers feel comfortable wheather your a newbie or repeat diner.

Came with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day dinner around 6:15pm. My boyfriend ordered the sweet corn soup appetizer and classic chicken curry along with garlic Naan. I ordered lamb Rogan Josh with garlic cheese Naan. It took quite awhile for us to receive our food, I’d say about 30 minutes. The restaurant was packed as it was V-Day and there were only 2 waiters and what I’d presume to be 1 or 2 cooks in the kitchen. I was disappointed with my Naan since it appeared to contain cheddar cheese instead of panneer. My lamb was dry and overcooked, but the curry was savory and delicious. Originally they mixed up his soup order and brought out hot and sour soup, but we understand mistakes happen. When his corn soup came, my boyfriend LOVED it and I can confirm the soup was excellent. He had no complaints regarding his curry either. For dessert, I ordered gulab jamun and it was served room temperature. I prefer mine hot, but it had a nice sweet taste to it. Overall, not the worst dining experience ever, but not enough to tempt me to return.

I went to Rasoi again today. It is my 5th time dining there in the past week and a half. I have been in need of flavorful/spicy food and they have not disappointed. Everything I’ve had has always been excellent and all of the staff are super friendly. Overall, an awesome experience. I will say that I was second guessing my choice when I requested my chicken vindaloo to be spicy, “Indian spicy”. The food was extremely flavorful despite being way hotter than I had hoped (still ate it all in one sitting). Next time I’ll just stick with “spicy”. Again though, everything is wonderful. I will keep going back while I am in town. Thanks you!

The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was quiet and classy. The service was excellent; the waiter was attentive but not over-the-top. Perfect restaurant for a date night. The music was fun, and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic cuisine.

I will preface my 5 stars and overall review by saying that no restaurant is perfect so I do not rate for perfection but rather overall experience and food.
