The service was absolutely pleasant. My husband and I just moved back out west from VA and it’s nice to be back where people know what hot salsa is. The brisket and taco salad are divine!

Best food in town! We are visiting from California and stopped in for the first time to try something new while in town. Rasco’s was the best BBQ we’ve had, everything was flavorful, consistent and the portions were plenty. It was super clean and tidy. The meats were smoked to perfection and the sides were fresh and plentiful. We went about an hour and a half before closing today, Wednesday, it wasn’t crowded, very peaceful and we got to have a excellent conversation with the family members that own it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Las Cruces look for excellent BBQ or something new to try.

Read other reviews, especially from people claiming to have eaten Memphis, Kansas, Texas BBQ, etc, etc, but Rasco’s is better. I thought yeah, right. Well, I’m here to tell you they were RIGHT. The food here is delicious. We ate there the other night, had the beef brisket and pulled port combos. Sides were corn, potato salad, and the two servings of the mac. Everything was good, but the brisket was the best we’ve ever had. Better than Memphis, better than Kansas City, and much better than any from Texas. If you can stand the heat, as they don’t have A/C, then do yourself a favor and stop by for a really good BBQ!!! And the comments about the owner are right on too. Funny guy, nice and makes you want to come back.

My first time here today. Wow is it delicious! We got some brisket tacos that were finger licking good. My husband also ordered us some fried macaroni and cheese. Let me just say woah! Creamy and crunchy all in one bite. I hope this place stays around for a long while because I’ll want to come again!

I used to think highly of this place until I met the owner. He is the rudest person I have ever met. He got mad when we were trying to explain our order. He then had the audacity to tell me “Smile, Hun”. It was so disgusting. Not to mention their food was also disappointing. Maybe the owner shouldn’t work in customer service. The other people that were there were also missing several things that they ordered and waited forever to get them. Just go to Rudy’s. At least they’re friendly there.

Mmmmm good. Juicy tasty beef and pork . I can’t remember if they had chicken and sausages, I think so. Picnic sides. Bottle Pop. Perfect sauces. Decent prices for the barbeque crowd. Catering available! Friendly owner.

Brisket sandwich Soggy bread and horrible customer service. When I brought it to their attention that the bread was soggy and it looked like hot dog buns and he responded with… “I don’t know what kind of hot dogs your eating!”. and kept arguing back. I Couldn’t eat it and had to throw it in the trash. Wasted 12 dollars. Couldn’t pay me to go back.

This little gem near the downtown has the best Taco Tuesday Tacos in the Galaxy maybe the Universe! The brisket alone will make your taste buds transcend to Valhalla. Will be back for some real barbecue. Mucho Thank Yous Senior Rasco!
