Best Italian restaurant I’ve ever tried here in Colorado!!! I moved from Italy two years ago and I never found anything like this. This was authentic and felt like home, finally! I went there to celebrate my engagement and the service was so nice. The girl that helped us out was very nice and kind and they also offered us some good wine to start our celebration. The restaurant is also nice and elegant. I don’t even wanna talk about the food before I get hungry again!!

While out for a quick walk in Fort Collins, we decided to have dinner at the Rare Italian restaurant. The restaurant is located in an old bank building that has been remodeled into a cozy but spacious restaurant. The food was delicious and very well presented. The service was attentive and professional. Recommended.

First of all I would like to say Rare is one of my favorite places to eat. We usually rave about the good cheese and steak. However this time was a disappointment. We have ordered the same 24 oz steak several times and had a good experience this time the steak was very small for a 66 dollar 24 oz steak. This is very expensive. I have attached the two pictures of the two same size steaks. You can tell the difference between the two steaks. One is extremely smaller than the other. When we asked the waiter about this problem she just continued to tell us this was a 24 oz steak. We tried to remedy this before we ate but they kept claiming to is was the steak we ordered. We will be thinking about coming back here again unfortunately:( it used to be our fav restaurant be there at least 10 times but not sure we will be back they did not fix our problem

Great ambiance, wonderful staff, lovely menu. I would actually give this place a 4.5 out of 5, but I must say my expectations for the New York strip were slightly less than ideal, although still very good. That’s the only reason for a less than 5 star rating. My colleagues ordered very well, and the pizza at the table next to me looked beyond amazing. I would certainly go back again!!!

RARE is the best Italian restaurant in Fort Collins bar none. They’re a little pricy for the area, but I’ve never regretted a penny here. The cocktails are aesthetic and strong, and their menu options are absolutely delicious. I strongly recommend this to everyone coming to Foco.

Excellent service, brussel sprouts are incredible trust me and order them. Can recommend Rare for an elevated, extended, and elegant dinner. Not only did our server not rush us, he actually “paced” our dining experience by giving us time between courses. He read our table well and knew when to take our order for each course, when to offer another glass of wine, and was easily signaled for anything else. Loved our experience and the food is incredible.

Chose the place for to my husband’s unofficial first day of military retirement due to his love for Italian food and it didn’t disappoint. We tried a few different appetizers, tomato arancini, shrimp bruschetta and a platter of homemade mozzarella/salami. The shrimp bruschetta tasted fresh and had a very pleasant level of spice. The tomato arancini tasted fresh but was on a bland side, especially next to the flavors of the shrimp bruschetta. The cheese and salami platter was good. As the main dish I chose the lobster ravioli, my husband had the house aged filet. The lobster ravioli was cooked to a perfect al dente and tasted great, I especially enjoyed the sauce it came with. The house aged steak was cooked to a more of a medium-well instead of the requested medium but was still very soft and juicy. As a dessert we tried the birramisu and a cannoli and both tasted absolutely amazing! Overall we had a great experience not just when it comes to food but also the service. Every interaction we had, from the hostess to the waiters, was professional and friendly. The staff was outstanding!
