I recently visited Raquel’s for Sunday brunch and lunch later in the month. Both times were great experiences. My group was quickly seated. The room is comfortable and decorated with interesting photos from earlier times in Salem. Our waiter answered questions we had about the menu and offered welcome suggestions. Our food arrived quickly with lovely preparation. Most importantly the food was very good! Most items are uniquely personalized by Chef Raquel and not your standard boring food. The prices are very reasonable with ample portions. When you are in Salem this is the place to go for a great meal!

Today was our first dining experience at Raquel’s. It is situated on the square in Salem and is so super cozy! Such an amazing atmosphere for starters ! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and escorted to our table. I had made reservations late the night before and they had our table ready with a high chair. Today was their all you can eat brunch buffet! Let me tell you the food was beyond tasty! It was some of the best food we have ever eaten ! Not only breakfast items but lunch items with a salad bar and dessert bar ! Kiddos 0-3 eat free and both of my nieces absolutely loved the chocolate chip pancakes! Everything was presented beautifully! The staff was so genuinely nice! The restrooms were super clean ! We will definitely be going back soon ! Grab your family and friends and take them to Raquel’s !

Stop reading – and go to this restaurant! Fantastic gem and 5 stars across the board. Everything is high quality and done the right way. I ordered the fried chicken (which was pounded and breaded to order) with gravy on the side and it was among the best I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the chicken salad croissant and it was so good, she wouldn’t let me have a bite. Lemonade cake for dessert made the perfect finish to a great meal. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been to Raquel’s twice in 3 weeks and each time everything was wonderful. The server makes it a point to tell you that everything is made from scratch in house and for a foodie, that earns major brownie points. I will definitely be back and will be telling my family and friends about this hidden gem located on the square in Salem!

Passing through on a motorcycle trip we stopped for a bite to eat . After ordering our food we noticed it was close to dinner time and the menu would change. We were able to cancel what we ordered and got to pick for the dinner menu. The food was great service awesome. Best place to eat for miles. Thanks!!

A gem of a restaurant with tasty offerings, great service. Found it for a lunch , then returned with the entire family for Easter Brunch. Great selections on the menu for lunch, and the Brunch was fantastic. Looking forward to trying the steak selections for dinner in the future. So nice to see such quality in Salem. Will certainly be returning in the near future and highly recommend.

This place is a gem! Much of their menu is made in house and made to order. Manager and wait staff let us know this, as we had never been there before. I liked this because I tend to chose items that are made in house and loved that about their menu.
