Nice Mexican place on the upper west side. Service is a bit wanting… had the lunch special, which includes 3 pork tacos, rice & beans and the soup of the day (butternut). The tacos were tad too oily for me but still really tasty!

I came here with my friends on a Saturday afternoon – they got the bottomless brunch combo with burritos + sangria/margarita while I got guac and chips with a large passion fruit margarita. We loved everything we got and the staff was lovely. The first sangria came out too bitter and Max (who I assume is the manager) came right out to ask for our feedback, and later came back with a new sangria sample that better suited our liking. I love this place from that interaction alone and would gladly come back here to support the business – you don’t see that dedication to service recovery often! We sat outside on a breezy, sunny day and it was lovely.

We had the worst day, with multiple flights cancelled. We got to our hotel and frantically searched for food. We are so glad we found this place. The carnitas tacos and queso fundido were fantastic (as were the margaritas) and the server and manager were very kind. Plus we sat outside, and the patio is beautiful! Highly recommend. I’d give it ten stars if I could!

I visited this bar with friends on a Saturday night, just in time for their “Late Night Happy Hour”. However, the happy hour selections were not great. I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was not covered by the deal. The drink was alright, perhaps lacking in a stronger orange flavor that I prefer. The atmosphere is very colorful, particularly on the outside patio.

The service was great however the food could have been better. I have never had shrimp al ajillo like this before the middle which I thought was guac turned out be be green colored mash potatoes. The tacos were a bit bland and the cakes tasted store bought not homemade. Not to mention it is pricey for the portions you receive.

I am a foodie. This is a must-gp-to place. The service is friendly and impeccable. Our server was attentive and quite adorable (smiles abundantly). The manager, Max, checked on us and asked for suggestions when my friend didn’t finish his sangria. Unhead of! He then came back with another taste to ensure approval. Wow!!! The decor, and music feels of Mexican authenticity. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be back.

My friend & I planned to eat a late lunch at a crab leg spot next door. But the weather was so nice I saw the outside seating this restaurant provided on the corner. So though we googled the crab leg place (next door) and drove to the UWS, the scenic beautiful outdoor patio drove us to the restaurant. I’m normally not a fan of Mexican food but the food and presentation was absolutely amazing. Our server Veronica & another gentlemen (forgot his name) were poised & polite. Drinks were strong, food was fresh & delicious. Great find!!
