Located in the original homestead of the Ranch that was built in the 1930s, Ranch House Restaurant sits on the edge of a sweeping meadow with the Continental Divide 4,000 feet above and magnificent views all-around of grazing horses and a blanket of stars in the night sky.

We had the most amazing dinner at Devil’s Thumb Ranch House restaurant! We were celebrating our 30th anniversary. The views are gorgeous and very picturesque. From the moment we walked in until we walked out, we had top notch service and food. The experience was perfect for our anniversary dinner. I had the Alaskan halibut and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The flavors were amazing. My husband had the elk tenderloin and said it was equally delicious. When we arrived, we were served with two glasses of champagne for our anniversary. Then at the end of the meal, we were given a complimentary dessert. We chose the gluten free chocolate cake and it was so good. Also, I want to mention that I had plenty of gluten free options and the serving staff are well versed in gluten allergies. The Ranch House made us feel special and we cannot wait to return!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, service, and food. We watched horses run through the meadow in our table by the window. Staff was amazing, food was literally one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Very high quality ingredients, house made bread, butter, and pickles, and beef from their own herd.

Best high end Restaurant in the Valley! They have the most elegant beef, raised on their very own ranch and prepared by a French trained chef to perfection! The wine list, curated by Lisa was incredibly diverse and has won “Wine Spectator” Awards. The ambiance is both classy yet relaxing and the view is unparalleled in the area. The service was spot from start to finish and the pace of the meal was lovely.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was fantastic and absolutely smashed our expectations. First time visitors may be derailed by the price, however the food is magnificent and the service is awesome. The charcuterie board starter was great, however kids may not enjoy it as much as adults would. For entrees, I would highly recommend the tasting board special with the ribeye, NY strip, and denver steaks. The short ribs were also very delicious, lucious and flavorful, tearing apart easly. Overall a fantastic experience and would return if given the chance.
