We like to visit locally own restaurants when we travel. This was the only one we found that does breakfast. The food was excellent and our server was very friendly and efficient. I had the shore man skillet and my wife had the barnyard omelette. Both were tasty.

My wife and I stopped by today to try a new place. I’ve always been a ‘fan’ of the Rams Head in Annapolis. Unfortunately, the food was really bad at the ‘Shore House.’ I started with a cup of Lobster Bisque. If I had to guess, I think they start with a generic bisque and use it for the Crab Bisque and Lobster Bisque. They add quite a bit of food coloring. It looked like the cup had a generous portion of lobster that I’m sure was actually Surimi. I cleaned a couple of bites off and took a hard look at them. It definitely wasn’t lobster. I also had a Crab Cake sandwich. I’m pretty sure it was far less than the advertised 5 oz., but being perfectly honest, I didn’t have a scale, so it’s open to debate. After the first bite, I thought I smelled fish and the Crab Cake didn’t have any flavor. I can only guess that it was ‘cut’ with some type of fish or it was pasteurized crab meat. My wife went for the Fish and Chips and the fish came out completely burned – not just dark – it had as much black as brown fry coating. It tasted really bad. The high notes of the meal were the french fries that came on both plates and the dill pickle. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was good, but the chairs weren’t particularly comfortable. It’s probably a great place to have a beer if you’re a sports fan, but it was a horrible choice for our lunch and we won’t be back. With our tip (no alcohol), it was a $66.00 mistake.

Delicious food and beyond friendly service! Nikki was incredibly outgoing and we had a great experience. The vegan sausage sandwich was FANTASTIC! The sausage was lightly crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle, and the onions and peppers were not overcooked. The new Spiced Harvest Ale was great! Would love to go back and order it all again!

We went on cowboy night. So therefore, the menu was related to cowboy items. We eat here once or twice a month. We really enjoy their food, the specials they have throughout the week like lobster night, prime rib or cowboy dinner. Our favorites here are the crab dip, cheesy tots and the lobster dinner. Prices are on the higher end but the menu items are delicious and worth the expense. For dessert they have the smith island cake in various flavors…a must try.

Clean place with cozy decor. The food wasn’t bad. I liked the Bavarian pretzels appetizer. I also had the Fish and chips. They were battered nicely, and the fries were average. The iced tea.os brewed fresh, and it was delicious. Really, the only lackluster part was our server. I do not remember her name. She was pleasant but inattentive.

We enjoyed a tasty breakfast but it was the service and hospitality that really stood out. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. Meanwhile the manager (owner?) went out of his way to gift us a bottle of our favorite hot sauce (Huy Fong’s Sriracha) which we happened to have mentioned that we had not been able to find in stores for over a year. Well worth a visit!

The Burgers are the best, juicy and cooked to order. Wings are good, order frequently. Nice place to watch sports and listen to music. Haven’t had a bad meal for lunch or dinner. Breakfast can be hit or miss, especially if you go at the end of the serving hours. Note- if you do arrive at the breakfast to lunch switch, it’s a long wait for service.

Came in for breakfast and was not disappointed. Leaps and bounds above Cracker Barrel. Luanne was our waitress and was great with our kiddos. This may become our new haunt for breakfast weekends.

We had dinner on the restaurant side with a party of 7. The server was very attentive and personable and all of our food was served in a timely manner. The food itself was delicious and we had a wonderful time.

Nice little local place. Good selection of beers. We both had salads w steak. Both sets of steak strips were cooked as ordered (1 medium, 1 medium rare) and quite tender.
