I am a Louisiana girl with a traveler’s heart. I saw this restaurant and had to stop in for a bite. The location was great, within walking distance from the hotel. We decided to order To-Go lunch. The to-go person wanted to know about my online experience and how they could improve. The elote was a unique appetizer. The corn on the cob tasted a bit over cooked though. The guacamole/ salsa popped into my mouth with such a pleasant after taste A+. We ordered four different entrées Shrimp Taco Salad succulent, Carnitas Burritos a bit dry, Carne Asada Quesadilla perfect, and Birria Tacos missed the mark. I want to say it did not look like birria because they used flour not corn for the tortilla. The taste of the meat was perfect. To say the least it was close but no Birria Taco. I encourage you to look at my photos.

Cheap delicious Mexican cuisine! One of our favorite places to eat. They recently moved to a larger location down on Spring Street. It offers lots more seating and also has a cool vibe. We love it here!

I stopped in for lunch recently, after a long bike ride. My friend and I got burrito bowls and they were great; very nice protein and toppings (veggies+) variety. The ingredients were very tasty (I got the carne asada) and I want to go back and try the brisket bowl . This is basically a more delicious and authentic Moes, Chipotle or Qdoba style food. Happy eating!

New location closer to the river is quite nice! I tried the chicken tacos, and carnitas tacos, and they were great! My friend said the steak nachos were great as well. Frozen margarita was very delicious… I do wish they had some more outside seating though. Can’t wait to go back and try the burritos.

So their new location is in the old Ann’s by the river building. Their food is so much better here than their last location. Not sure what has changed but their Mexican style brisket meat option is awesome! (We eat brisket a lot and even smoke our own and theirs is really good!) It is cafeteria style and no waitress but super clean and everyone is so friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place for excellent food. We love going here for Taco Tuesday. Not only are they made to order, they pile them up with your choice of toppings. Nice family place to eat and relax.

Ramiro’s used to be my favorite Mexican spot around. It has really gone down hill since they closed they Louisville location and relocated the Jeffersonville location. I thought this consolidation would create the best Ramiro’s possible, and sadly, that’s just not true. Last night, my friends and I went to Ramiro’s for dinner. The wait to be served was a little ridiculous considering we were the only ones in line, but I understood. I got my usual – chicken nachos with some toppings and it was delicious as usual. However, I woke up this morning at 1am to a churning stomach and have spent most of my day in the bathroom with food poisoning. At first I thought it wasn’t possible, Ramiro’s is the best. However, the exact same thing happened to my other 2 friends who ate there with me last night. Safe to say you’ve lost a very loyal customer and I will never be back. Absolutely disgusting.
