I lived in Hawaii for over 5 years and I have to say that this is by far the closest affordable sushi in terms of quality to what I had available to me out there. The best in the area. The millionaire roll and Shrek roll were my favorites and the sashimi is tough to beat for the price!

This place has the best miso soup I’ve ever had! The sushi was great, and the katsudon was DELICIOUS. Service was friendly, and I went between 9 & 10 pm, so it was very quiet.

This place is a fantastic Japanese restaurant! Raku offers a wide variety of delicious Japanese dishes! ️ Definitely try the Chicken and Vegetables Udon Soup , Edamame, Pork Gyoza , and sushi – everything here is great and portions are really big! Service is very fast and staff ‍ is super welcoming and professional! I wish I came here more often!

I’ve been to both this location and the other location on UWS (if they’re the same) and enjoyed both my experiences. The food was good and the portions were pretty large. I think the service was okay, not stellar but I would still say definitely above average for NYC. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food you get and tasty.

Ive only ever ordered from Seamless here and every time its been fresh and delicious. I order he sushi for two which is a good amount of sushi for two people or if its only you, you won’t be hungry after! Also its the best value in the area for a sushi for 2 and its fresh! It comes with two miso soups and ginger and wasabi and soy sauce!

Tried some sushi roll and sukiyaki for takeout. I can tell it’s not authentic. Since the sukiyaki is bad and it doesn’t come with raw egg as a dipping sauce.

Large portions and decent price but food taste and quality wasn’t great if you are expecting traditional Japanese sushi.

This review is for their bento lunch boxes. Great value for the price! I love having Salmon teriyaki and it also comes with different rolls, appetizers and salads.

Horrible fish quality. Ordered the roll with cucumber on the outside salmon and avocado on the inside. Fish was chewy, and the avocado was nearly black the entire way around each chunk. And the seaweed salad wasn’t even half the container, they propped the seaweed up with iceberg lettuce ‍♀️ no thank you, I can go down the street and get triple the size for less. That’s not something I’ve experienced at any other restaurant.

Pork Gyozas were really good. Chicken Tonkatsu was bland. Green tea ice cream had absolutely no flavor. No complaints about the sashimi. Very pretty presentation.
