PHENOMINAL food with reasonable prices – had the ginger pumpkin soup to start, followed by their crispy chicken, and it was a treat! The servers were kind and patient as I navigated a menu with so many decadent choices. Will absolutely be going back on my next business trip to Bethesda!

My review is for the overall experience and the quality and taste of their sushi rolls. Overall the dining experience was good but the sushi was a bit on the mushy side and the flavors were considerably lacking. I hate sounding harsh because the employees were attentive and really nice.

Love the Sushi at this place. I don’t normally like fusion Asian restaurants but Raku is the exception. We ordered carry out for my birthday and Sushi is just as fresh and delicious. And my boyfriend got my favorite bread pudding for me too. We reheated it in the oven and it was crispy outside and gooey in the inside. Yum! It came with a scope of vanilla ice cream and the sauces. Love it!

I was treated to a nice dinner here, and the food was wonderful. The sushi and sashimi was fresh and the ambiance was nice. I had the miso cod fish as an entree and was not disappointed, the only thing that did not blend too well was the tomato sauce at the bottom of the dish. Otherwise the food was delicious.

The staff and customer service were all excellent. The food was excellent! My friend and I did not make reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar immediately upon entering. That was awesome! Especially, since it was a beautiful Friday evening and everyone was out. In the future, I would try to make a reservation, seeing that if you sit a the bar, you may feel a little overwhelmed with the smallness of the area. Whereas, the friendly atmosphere and food makes up for that. 🙂
