It’s been a long time since I enjoyed a clean, healthy, vegetarian Indian meal, and the kathiawadi thali at Raj’s Kitchen exceeded my expectations. The presentation alone was a visual delight, with a traditional Indian touch using steel plates and cups, instantly evoking a sense of nostalgia and setting the perfect mood. As I indulged, all my senses were delighted, and my taste buds danced with joy. Every item on the plate was exceptionally flavorful, making it a must-try for any Indian food enthusiast. I have been in this place many times, and today I decide to do my review. I love Indian food and the name of the restaurant, if fits very well to the dishes. We found this place by watching Netflix food Street and they have many dishes that appear on this series. I ordered this time the khoya kaju with Cheese Chilli Naan they look like Latin quesadillas but are not the same and some tomato soup, drink mango juice. And for dessert. Had a take out order, the food was ready in quick time. We tried the indo chinese Manchurian noodles and paneer kati roll, they both were awesome. Noodles had unique Indo-Chinese flavors. Aloo tikki chat was decent too. Overall good option in university area for quick and tasty Indian food.

Recommend by one of our business friends. Very nice staff. I tired dosa for the first time in my life. It was okay. I was expecting it to be very different lol. They made fresh jalebi which was good. Dabeli was my favorite. Note: This restaurant is vegetarian only I believe.

Tried Kathiyawadi Thaali and Rajasthani Thaali and it was a big disappointment. All the food items in the Thaali were cold. Specially if you serve khichadi it has to be warm let alone hot. All the sabjis were completely room temperature. Nothing really stood out in both the thaalis. The price of one Thaali ($16.99)doesn’t justify the quality of food you get. If you are specially making a trip to Raj’s kitchen for Thaali then be prepared to get disappointed.

Went in for an early dinner. This place has chicken listed on the menu but they has it struck off and not serving it. Unsure for the time being or re-labeled as a veggie spot. Liked the vibrant interior. Ordered veg manchow soup which was a bit extra salty and it was alright. My dear fiance did mention there weren’t enuf veggies in it. Next was paneer pakora which was the best from our visit today. Thankfully the batter was cooked thoroughly and paneer was soft. He wanted to try the egg Tikka masala and it came with 2 buns(the hamburger buns, toasted) . This is where we both thought could get better. The masala tasted separated from boiled eggs and I mean if it were to rest in masala for a few hrs the eggs would’ve prolly acquired some taste, also there were raw spring onions which were crunchy and bitter. Server lady was really sweet tho the guy could use a smile. Rr was clean but needs a handy man for maintenance. Ordered noodles and veg manchurian gravy for carry out and both have extra levels of soy sauce. Definately going with Street food vibes.

This is perfect place for Indians to have food which taste almost same as back in India.. Food over here is so delicious. It’s vegetarian restaurant. We ordered hara bhara kabab n hot n sour Soup which was super delicious. There is wide variety of vegetable gravies. We had ordered veg Kolhapuri n Nargis Kofta and taste was amazing. Even they have wheat naan which was the best thing. Overall everything taste delicious .
