Highly recommend! I think this is a new location for Chesapeake- it felt new and clean! The food was extremely fresh and delicious. They do not have servers/waiters- You order food at the counter and can see and choose from different toppings and items depending on your dish. Some items are prepared fresh in back and take a few minutes but worth the wait! They have a self serve canned and bottled beverage cooler, even offering a few wine and beer items. Check them out!

The location in Chesapeake is more of a fast food type of restaurant (think along the lines of a Chipotle) rather than like the Suffolk location that is an actual restaurant.

We ordered shrimp Apollo South Indian, lamb chops biryani, and ginger chai tea. Both dishes were good! We opted for mild spice, so it was just right for us.

I’m SO glad Rajput opened up a location in Chesapeake. The Norfolk location is amazing and the street vendor option that Chesapeake offers is right what I needed and expected. The flavors were authentic and delicious. The owner was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The menu options are great and you can really tell the quality of ingredients in the dishes as soon as they hit the table.

I really enjoyed the food. I got the platter because I wanted to try as much as possible. I also ordered a side of garlic naan. It was all delicious and the people were very friendly and personable. If you like Indian cuisine, definitely come try this place. I took the leftovers home and got 2 meals out of this!

I unfortunately didn’t get any pictures because we were so focused on eating. This was some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Definitely a new favorite place. Definitely on my list of places I recommend. My food was exceptional. I got the spice level of three on my Chicken Tikka Masala and it’s perfect.

5 stars because the food was good and I have no complaints. My only comment is that I feel for it to taste more like traditional Indian food, there should be more spice. People who like and enjoy Indian food are used to it being hot. I like it “the hotter, the better”! Overall, I enjoyed each of the items I had. The staff was very friendly and walked around asking if everything was okay which I thought was a nice touch. Will definitely go here regularly for lunch as it’s close to work.

The food is great just like all other Rajput locations, but the systems and prices are broken at this Greenbrier location. We came in on a Friday night at a time when they were getting a few people at the front, and the owner/manager was communicating in a very quick/chaotic way trying to explain things to us. My food was immediately packaged and sat waiting for my girlfriend’s to be finished for about twenty minutes. By the time I got home it was cold, and I paid $16.95 + tax for the amount of food below. There was a nice girl at the counter trying to add a little more to my plate, but she was interrupted by the owner/manager. I live right across the street and really wanted to have a great experience, but I’ll continue going to Norfolk for my Rajput.
