Raising canes was a great place to eat back when I was stationed at oceanside this location here in Santa Maria always disappoints me, always messing up orders the toast is always to oily fries are to salty and they always take forever on orders I always say “quality over quantity”

I’m disappointed in the service. We went through the drive through about a week ago and ordered 3 box combos. We got home and found we received the 3 finger combos instead. I took the survey on the receipt to report the error and the survey asked if I had called the restaurant so I figured maybe I should do that. I called the restaurant and let the gal that answered know what happened. She apologized and offered for us to come back and get the correct order. It was late and we didn’t want to drive back across town again so she offered to write my name down on a list so I could come back and redeem at my convenience. Great! So my kids and I decided to go redeem tonight and my name was not on “the list.” The manager actually told me that I need to make sure that someone writes my name on the list if this ever happens again in the future. lol… WHAT? How is it MY responsibility to write down my name on a list at their establishment to fulfill an error that was made on their part? I tried to explain that I didn’t really have control whether someone writes down my name after they told me it were to be done and he told me I should have come back in. I explained I didn’t want to drive back across town that evening because it was late and we were tired and his employee had ensured we were taken care of. In any case, he made me feel like it was my fault which didn’t sit well with me. He did end up fulfilling the order but I felt like I had to prove myself… which was awkward and almost embarrassing. I don’t usually treat ourselves to fast food and although we enjoyed our food, we’ve had undesirable service twice in about a week so we will likely not visit again anytime soon. Their attention to detail and follow through needs some work it seems.
