Really great barbecue at an affordable price. The young lady at the window is excellent. My only complaint is that they aren’t open later.

Just a little country BBQ restaurant. Drive thru pick–up window or order on the porch and enjoy a meal at a picnic table. The food is excellent. Having a gathering? Let them cater. Y’all won’t be disappointed.

Very good but take out or fair weather outside dining. I had the BBQ sandwich, beans and onion ring. Very good portions will fill up a hungry person. Worth the drive whether from I-40 or Brownsville.

I’m a truck driver and lived in Texas my whole life. We DO NOT put vinegar in bbq sauce. I usually will not eat bbq if it has vinegar taste to it. I must say, THIS PLACE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Vinegar and all❗️

Deceptive menu prices and rude owner. I went in and ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. The state menu price was $10 approx. You pay when you order, so I was taken by surprise when my total was over $17. I asked why and the owner shouted at me “DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT!?!” I respectfully said “no thank you”. Apparently, if anyone asks, they tell you they have raised their prices due to inflation. All I wanted to know is what I was paying for because I thought they might have crossed my order up with someone else’s. Instead of helping me understand, I was shouted at like a criminal. If you like being shouted at and overcharged, this is your place. Otherwise, I’d suggest another eatery.

Have always seen this place at the 4 way stop and have always wanted to try it. For our sons graduation luncheon we decided to do BBQ and didn’t want the same old boring BBQ joint in town. So we decided to try this place out and it was delicious. From the BBQ to the sauce to the potato salad, BBQ baked beans and Cole slaw…its what Tenessee BBQ is about. We will definitely be doing more business with Raisin Cain. Wonderful and polite staff and the food was fantastic!

We couldn’t be more grateful that we stopped. The food is very tasty and the meat was good quality. The love and hospitality of the staff and ownership is why Raisin Cain will be marked on our map forever.

I had the brisket sandwich it was pretty good, but a little fatty for my taste. I always try to trim the fat off mine. Beans were average, onion rings standard frozen version nothing to write home about. I will give them another chance to WOW me. Nice owner.
