Very dissatisfied with the quality of food. I’m not sure if they are trying to get over on customers who order through Uber eats. But yesterday i order regular stew with beef and goat for protein. Once my food was delivered i only had 3 pieces of beef and no goat. The beef was very hard to chew as well. If customers are paying for what they are asking i don’t understand why they feel the need to give customers whatever they feel like giving them. And it’s actually good just find it unfair that they would ever do something like this. Cannot bring myself to eat the other two pieces because of the texture.

My family is Liberian and I was craving some good african food. My friend reccomended this restaurant and I tried it for the first time today. The food was awesome! I had Fufu and Peanut soup and a order of Palm Nut soup. The fufu nice and soft, both soup was very tasty and seasoned. Each entry is enough for two or three servings. I wish the meat in the soups were cut smaller, they both had three large portion, but was very good. I will definitely return and try something else. The lady behind the counter was also friendly and helpful. I give them 4 stars, took of one because of the meat portions but excellent food

I honestly don’t know what high stool the employees here sit on, but the customer service here Is always HORRIBLE. The environment is filthy… As a result, they keep the raggedy curtain up so you can’t see what’s going on in the kitchen. I once observed meat pies piled HIGH with no cover and flies circling them. I ignored the red flags once more because witnessing such things is usual in Ghana. Every time I go, there are at least ten health code violations. The staff members have little regard for you and will speak about you in Twi with their regular clients, unaware that you also speak Twi. Today, I sent my spouse to get a meal for me, and When he entered, everyone was staring at him blankly. ( I believe this information to the fullest because every time I go they look into my soul as if I do not belong there) . Before he could even place his order or speak, an employee in the rear shouted, “NOT READY, NOT READY, TEN MINUTES!” Is there no suitable greeting? He swiftly tried to reject him without knowing what he wanted. My husband requested an order, paid, and was instructed to return in 10 minutes. My husband returned 7 minutes later, at 7:50, to find the door LOCKED.

This restaurant is the most disgusting, unprofessional and dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. The food looks unappetizing, and the workmanship is very poor. They left hold for almost 20 minutes just for them to give me a meal that looks like dog food. I will NEVER recommend this food for anyone, it even made me sick. 0 stars for this restaurant, I should not even be calling this place a restaurant. It’s is a place that serves sloppy food and gives it to humans. And the banku was soft like water. NO ONE SHOULD EAT THIS FOOD!!!!!!

It just wasn’t up to par with how I have come to know african cuisine to be prepared like and taste like. Fried drumsticks and deep fried beef both unpalatable, and the sauce was not rich and lacked authentic flavors. I ordered pounded yam not the fufu you sent. And upon my observation they were two different colors and gritty. Not smooth but like grits rolled into a ball. I was not satisfied with my entire order.

We ordered on phone and our food was ready by the time we got there – in less than 15min. Operationally efficient, clean and friendly staff. They take various forms of payment from cash to cards. You can decide to dine-in or take away. Enough parking available. I was very impressed by the service and food. Totally worth the visit.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Rahama Restaurant in Beltsville, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. I must begin by stating that the cashier I encountered was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Their behavior left a lasting negative impression on my overall dining experience.

Went to the Silver Spring location. I ordered cassava. The food was awful and I spent almost $30 and ended up having to throw it all away because I couldn’t stand to eat it. They gave me an entirely different dish than what I ordered, I brought the dish back and had to wait while they prepared what I actually ordered. The cassava was burned and extremely salty. The goat was so tough I couldn’t even chew it and they only gave 3 little pieces. The fufu was the same texture as mashed potatoes, which made it very messy to eat the jollof was OK. I won’t be eating here again. I miss Sumah’s restaurant but still try to order with him whenever I can go pick it up because he still has the best west African food in the DMV by far.

When you first look at the restaurant, you might notice that the place where they prepare the food looks messy and not very clean. Sometimes, the meat can taste old and sour, which is not pleasant. Also, they don’t follow proper hygiene practices in their service. It’s worth mentioning that often the person who takes your payment is the same person who handles the food without wearing gloves or keeping things clean.
