This was one of the best foods I have eaten in my life! Everything was perfect! The spices, the textures, the ambiance, the service, everything!

good, decent Indian restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Being a South Indian, I felt the chetinaadu chicken was not authentic. But overall, it’s a very good restaurant and a little pricey for the quantity they serve.

So far, great experience, after having ordered food many times. They have a highly diverse selection, not like other Indian restaurants who survive on feeding typical dishes like Tikka Masala. They dishes are unique, truly representing the diversity India has to offer in its food, from North to South. I hope that they will invest more to even more diverse and richer dishes.

Amazing place, a gem. Really, THE BEST Indian food in Tri-State area. All dishes have different spices, quiet and spacious environment with tall ceiling and book shelf – like wall covers. Each dish (I love their lamb dishes) has a distinct taste and spice selection. We could talk and have a nice conversation without shouting in each other ear like in other places. It is just a pleasant overall restaurant to get together with a family or have a romantic dinner in a quiet environment. There are not many places in NY where within the aroma of ancient Indian spices you can you just whisper to your loved one: “I love you!” and be heard.

We were in your Bethesda / Rockville location 3 weeks ago. The menu was interesting so wanted to support the establishment . We were a family of 4, ordered 2 shrimp dishes, 1 chicken and one vegetarians. The shrimp was ok, the chicken average, the vegetarian was not edible. The eggplant was burnt, with the odd addition of split gram. Just so disappointing. It was more than $90 for a substandard meal. Sorry not coming back .

Earlier this year I attended an event that was catered by Raasa and both myself and my family were more than pleasantly surprised at how much the food tasted like homemade food, which is in fact, hard to get from an Indian restaurant! The food was so good!

Great Indian food. Rank their Chicken Tikka and Naan amongst the best. Food has flavor, and while I’ve only experienced the food through GrubHub, their location looks bright and elegant from pictures. Wish their Naan was on the fluffier/softer side, but other than that, looking forward to having their cuisine again, soon.

Ever since the old Malabar Hill restaurant was converted into Raasa, the food has just not been the same. None of the dishes I tried feels authentic enough but more like cobbled together to be a vague resemblance to what it ought to be. Many dishes that shouldn’t ever have vinegar seem to have it. Everything is just average to below average. The only reason the restaurant survives is because there aren’t many indian restaurants around, and others are also not great. I would argue reheated frozen entre’s from Bhavik grocery across the street taste better.
