My husband and I stopped in just before the lunch rush and had burgers. The food is great. The service sucks. The place is dirty and cramped, so we sat outside. Honestly, the bathroom (unisex, outside of the building) seemed to be cleaned better than the seating area. It’s a shame, because even though it is the best food I’ve had in Kenedy so far, we won’t eat there again.

I was trying to take a picture of this burger to give it the justice it deserves. All these pictures are nice but dont capture how amazing these hamburgers are. There are fast food burgers and there are burgers of mythical taste & proportions. And im not talking about the size, although they are a very “healthy” size, im saying it was so great that it does not seem real. 5 stars all day every day. Worth the drive if you dont live in Kennedy!

Wonderful, down home burger joint. Patties are big and juicy, even if they have a slight tendency to crumble, but that just means you know they are using real meat, and making them the right way. Indoor seating is very limited, so be prepared to take your lunch order to go.

The burgers are great. But I tried to order nachos and I got half shells of tacos with chilli meat and sliced cheese. That is not nachos. I’d rather have tortilla chips and nacho cheese. Now im scared to try anything else.

The western burger was great!! The tacos were great! I also got onion rings, and the order total was almost $20. I don’t know how that happened? I’m not the one to gripe about prices normally but I couldn’t figure out how it got to be so much. Oh and this was the size of my onion rings. I think there were 5 in there. Almost forgot to mention, do NOT stand next to the ordering window, that’s a door, although it’s not marked AT ALL I was standing in front of it when the lady in the back nearly knocked me off me feet coming through there.

Anticipating the food I ordered 30min ago. There are 5 tables in here. Two picnic tables outside along with one unisex restroom. There is one cook and one order taker. Let’s hope this cheese steak is worth the wait. It is. Soooo the moral of the story is call it in, get there early or have the time to wait for the food. Good food. Slow to the table.
