I have finally got the chance to try this place and the only thing I’m upset about is that it took me so long. I’ve really been missing out. The food has so much flavor. The beef tips over rice was amazing and the mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had, so cheesy also the corn bread and sweet tea was excellent. I can’t wait to try something else on their menu. Service was good and attentive. I highly recommend and i can’t wait to come back

Very disappointed, I ordered smothered pork chops, greens and Mac-n-cheese. The pork chops were thin and very tough, almost dry I will say the breading was seasoned well though the gravy was flavorful. The greens were good, but the Mac-n-cheese wasn’t good at all, no flavor and not much “cheesiness” or creaminess to it. There were probably 7 tables of people there when I got there it took 15+ minutes to get my order taken then another 35 minutes to get my food. I came at 1:00pm on a Sunday and there was only 1 table still there when I left at 2;25 My tea wasn’t refilled until I was leaving and when I checked out the server stated that she apologized for the delays that they were under staffed. I ordered the same thing to go for my mom but had I known the pork chops were so tough, I wouldn’t have ordered it for her.

Today was our first time trying this yummy restaurant! The first Friday of the the month is the night to go ! They had great music tonight! The food was delicious!!! The whole family had fun tonight- even the kids! We all had different things off the menu they were all great! My favorite was the Mac and cheese!

The food was really good. I ordered the smothered beef and cabbage, my husband had the smothered pork chops with yams and my daughter had the chicken tenders with mac n cheese. Everything was well seasoned and I really enjoyed “my daughter’s ” mac n cheese. The waitress was really attentive and nice. The owner came out and greeted us before and after our meal. We will be adding this restaurant to our dining rotation.

We had a great experience tonight! I got the soul bowl with fried chicken and brown gravy. The three sides I got Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and the greens. You can tell everything is homemade! Everything was delicious! My mother got the fried fish plate with the yams. The fish is locally caught too! The best food in town anyone from here needs to go. Any one visiting needs to go see them! Don’t even get me started on the sweet cornbread and homemade brown gravy!! Ya’ll DO NOT sleep on this place! All for an affordable price!
