I haven’t been here in a while and the food has gotten terrible . I use to come here a lot years ago and the food was great but I stopped coming because the food started going down hill. I had a taste for some Jamaican food and didn’t feel like driving to my normal place I go to which taste great everytime ! So I stopped by here and I ordered the brown stew chicken it wasn’t fresh tasted like left overs and lacked season the plantains were extremely dry and the rice and peas lacked seasoning as well and very dry . I definitely won’t be back.

Haven’t been in 2 yrs decided to revisit. The quality and prices of food is way off, horrible. Ordered oxtails w/peas and rice and it was barely edible costing $27+ Also had to wait over 15 minutes to place order

The service I got from this restaurant was great! The food is always fresh and tasty and they’re never stingy with the meat. The cashier is very welcoming and the restaurant is clean, if you want a good Jamaican meal made by Jamaicans order here!

If I could rate a zero star I would. Cashier didn’t know anything. Had food up with no price. Had to ask several times. The 1st time I had it food was terrible and over priced rice tasted burned. Just not good so I decided since it has been over a year since I had it. I decided to try again bit ordered cow foot soup. Over priced for what I got. I got broth with dumplings no cow foot but a small bone. Not happy wont ever go to it again. I will stick to fireside off covington hwy they are the best authentic Jamaican food. Please don’t go unless you don’t mind wasting your money.

Ordered Curry Chicken last week. It was horrible. Not sure what is going on or why they would even try and pass food off like that. Too many things wrong to describe. Curry was very watered down, had no body or texture to it. Tasted more like just Curry flavored water. Meat wasn’t well seasoned at all. Very disappointing. Won’t be back for a while. Maybe they are going through a phase.

Customer service tonight was trash. I went in at 9:30pm. They close at 10. The young lady said they only had curried oxtails. Taking in consideration the hour I said, “That’s fine”. She chased that with, “no cabbage no rice and peas.” Her entire demeanor was that she didn’t want to serve me to begin with. She was sweeping when I came in and didn’t make motion to go to the back. She said they’d run out of food. All fine because I understand things happen but I don’t need attitude with it. Do better.

Very bad customer service cashier was a young lady light skin, she must be new. she was very rude and disrespectful, and not welcomeing at all. she had a attitude when I was placing my order, when I walk in the restaurant, did not greet or say thanks after that transaction. I ordered shrimp roti. Was not that in any size shape or form.. anyway the shrimps were hard as hell, very over cooked and not deveined. I threw both plates out. Just disgusting. Roti shell was hard on the edges like it was stale. Vegetables were bland.
