We ordered the catfish, which was a little off, possibly due to the elevation, & I couldn’t eat the black beans I ordered with it because they didn’t look right, but the hush puppies were out of this world… The other 2 dishes the others ordered were basic but delicious they said, & I ate off their plates since my food was lackluster & they were 100% correct. I should’ve ordered something more basic… -Service was exceptional. -View was beautiful. -Moderate prices if you don’t order anything too bougie.

Out for a Sunday drive and decided to stop in. We will be back again! The restaurant is situated inside the lodge with wonderful views from almost every table. Our waiter was great. We started with homemade chicken n dumplings. Excellent and definitely made from scratch. I got the Reuben and hubs got the Chicken Sandwich with their homemade potato chips. The Reuben was fantastic, and I loved how they cut up the corned beef so I wasn’t fighting my sandwich to get a bite without pulling out the meat. Taste was wonderful. I wish I opted for the chips and ended up eating half of hubs’. He loved the chicken sandwich. Dessert was made-in-house cobbler a la mode: he got peach and I got blueberry. We had coffee with dessert. It was fantastic from beginning to end. Highly recommend for a relaxing drive and a great meal.

Food was yummy! Price was great for the portion size (they are huge). Our waitress, Trina, was great! Only waited about 10 minutes for our meal after ordering. Clean and beautiful atmosphere.

Great food with spectacular views. It is worth the trip. Next time we want to stay at the lodge and spend some time on the trails. The restaurant was very good. I tried the Roast Beef and it was very tender. Our table also tried the Chicken Tenders, Chicken Fried Steak, and Grilled Chicken. It was all very good! I also highly recommend their salad with ranch, the dressing was amazing. I will say, nothing was better than the fresh dinner rolls—they literally melt in your mouth. Stop by and give them a try!

Excellent restaurant. Great food, great service, great value, and most of all, GREAT VIEWS!!! Highly recommend. Everything was delicious. Have some homemade cobbler for dessert! You won’t regret it!
