Sandwich was tasty. Not that big though. I was still hungry when I left. They want you to order fries but enough fried food in one sitting. The chicken was moist. It was expensive. For the price I could have had 2 sandwiches from chick filet and it would have been just as good. 4 on quality 2 on quantity. 2 quost.

Queens mother is in a cute, clean shared space on the corner of Lincoln and Columbia Pike. We entered the Cafe and were directed to go to the side to order from Queen Mother’s. A tattered paper copy of the menu was in front of the register (suggest laminating copies of the menu), but QR code is also available. My husband and I placed our order, with little assistance from the counter person even though we mentioned it was our first time eating at QM’s. We ordered our food…Virginia Honey Butter Chicken Sandwiches, Duck Fat Fries w/Mother Sauce, Tangy Slaw, Jamaican Ginger Sorrel and Sweet Tea.

Food and service is the best here. You definitely aren’t getting any small fast food portions. One sandwich is definitely filling and the fries are amazing. The Virginia Honey butter sandwich was soo good and the Nashville hot was full of flavor with a kick that makes you want more. Don’t forget to wash it all down with some of the best sweet tea in the area. Definitely a place I would return to multiple times. I’m impressed

I want to start by saying this isn’t my first time at this lovely place, and they knock it out the park each time I have ordered from them! I first saw them on Uber Eats and even via delivery it was absolutely incredible! Today we decided to walk over there for lunch as it was only a 15 min walk! We ordered the fries, perfectly seasoned and crispy, also the fries are like the perfect size being crinkle cut, with the crinkle in it gripping the sauce (get the Gochu BBQ!! for the fries.) Queen Mother’s classic and not pictured was the honey butter! The perfect crunch! The chicken taste clean (no seriously) , and I know I’ve had many fried chicken sandwiches some good and some not so good in the oil they fry in, at Queen Mother’s its duck fat! I also got some slaw on the side which I added to the sandwich because I am greedy! I can’t wait to be back! (Which will probably be sometime in the next week LOL)

Queen Mother’s did not disappoint! I tried out their next level heat- spicy chicken sandwich, chicken & waffles, chicken tenders, and their bacon, egg, & cheese on a biscuit breakfast sandwich. All of their plates were absolutely delicious! The watermelon jam on the side made for the perfect combo of sweet & savory with every meal. The owner, Rahman, was also so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be a frequent visitor of Queen Mother’s now. Thank you Rahman!

I ordered the honey butter chicken sandwich and fries. I thought the vanilla honey butter overpowered the chicken and was overly sweet. I could see it being good on maybe a biscuit or waffles but it over took the chicken. The chicken was juicy and crispy but again I just couldn’t taste it through the honey butter. I definitely would like to come back and try one of the other sandwiches but wouldn’t recommend the honey butter. Might have been an off day though, since they do have a lot of 5 star reviews.

Once I learned Hell’s Kitchen Season 3’s winner had a restaurant down the street from me, I had to check it out. I’m so glad I did. The house-made pupusa on a chicken sandwich was a brilliant idea, and the sauces were amazing! My friends got the chicken and waffles, and they tell me the compotes were delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly, seasonings were amazing, literally everything was perfect. The duck fat fries were so good. I loved to see that all of their packaging is eco-friendly and they pay all of their employees well. I’m definitely coming back here!

Forget those big name, fast food chicken sandwich places. They don’t love you. Queen Mothers is the truth. QM is lead by Chef Rock Harper, the winner of the Hell’s Kitchen Food Competition– and it shows. The menu items are artfully seasoned and crafted with hormone-free products. This place is my family’s first choice. Highly recommended!
