Okay, so this could have been a great experience. The food is good but before we could get to the food, it was a work in patience with our waiter. Asked for unsweet tea, and like a cup of diabetes, the first drink was sweet. Yuck. So, we wait…and wait…and wait…and wait. Luckily, I ordered when I ordered drinks. The food comes out looking good but a spoonful of cole slaw in this big cup was entertaining. I asked for salt, ketchup for my fries and some vinegar for my fish. And watched the waiter go to 3 other tables without ever coming back. We finally had to yell at this guy. Being put in a back corner by the patio seems to be ignored by all. The food was good, but we probably wont ever go back coming thru.

Great friendly environment. Very laid back. Can accommodate a lot of people and yet it is still rather not noisy at all. Food was good and reasonably priced. Good selection of food. Overall, a good place to stop, relax, and enjoy company with friends.

Very happy with the server, although I don’t remember her name. The food was minuscule to say the least. I ordered the skillet steak, and when it was brought to me, the steak had only been seared and was red inside. Returned it only to get dried out steak. I was one of the first customers of the day, since they had just opened, I expected everything to be better, maybe the cook hadn’t woken up all the way. The tea, was supposed to be sweet, was not. Just an all-around bad experience, except for the server.

Good food, beer, and atmosphere. Went to Quaker Steak & Lube to watch a talented acquaintance perform and was not expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised by what we found. The atmosphere is really cool, everything was bright and clean, and the selection of food and beer was great. The quality of the food was very good, it’s not gourmet but very tasty and well presented. This first time there we had the Pick Ur Cheese Burger, Thunderbird Sirloin Steak topped with mushies, Loaded Mac & Cheese Skillet, and Pub-Style Fish & Chips. Everything tasted great, well-seasoned, and cooked to the requested doneness. There was no room to sit and eat on the patio to watch the performance but we were able to hear inside just fine and when done, went out to watch. It’s far enough off the Interstate that the noise is not too bad and there are benches on the grass to sit if you want to watch a performance but no alcohol is allowed out there. Overall we were impressed and will be back.

On the road with my truck driver for the week and we stopped in at the Petro Truck stop with the intention of eating at Subway, Nathan’s, or Popeyes, but Subway was out of lettuce and meatballs, Nathan’s had one employee and tons of people were already waiting on their food, Popeyes had a ridiculous long line, so we decided to take a small walk to Quaker Steak & Lube which is still on the property. We were seated right away and ordered rather quickly. The food was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.
