In looking for a waterfront place for lunch, my sis and I ended up at Quahog Republic. They had good reviews and the menu looked tasty, so we stopped in. We were not disappointed. The service was superb from the moment we arrived! The hostess was fantastic and the wait staff was also. Great experience❤️. We will definitely be back.

Cute spot with nice view. Service was good, and atmosphere was great! Live music on a Thursday, with comfortable seating outside, despite the rain. I was, however, extremely disappointed in the fish and chips. It came out looking amazing, with a nice, large piece of fish. But the fish was overcooked and did not taste fresh, and the cole slaw was wilted and not even edible (tasted like garbage). Go for a few beers and atmosphere, not the fish and chips!!

Excellent atmosphere. Very busy even though we were there at 3:30 pm. Try the truffle permessan fries. Fried cod was light and delicious. Our server asked us each time they passed if we wanted to refill our drinks. I would call this local restaurant quirky and immersed in the local atmosphere.

We love eating here any chance we get! We live in new bedford, so we are familiar with that location. However, the one in onset has much more variety when it comes to seafood, drinks, and entrees. Both are gems, but we prefer the onset location.

Worst dining experience we have ever had. Didn’t mind the 30 minute wait for our table of 5. I was with my brother and his gf from out of state so we haven’t seen each other in a long time. We were seated in bar area . This was around 2 pm. The table behind us had a party of 6 young people that were extremely loud talking with profanities and racial slurs. We couldn’t even have a conversation or enjoy our meal. I don’t know where the manager was at but he wasn’t doing his job.

This is a review based on a take out order. This place is slow. This place is super over priced. I got the small lobster roll which was $30 with fries. I’m not going to say it was bad because I like the actual taste of lobster but that is all it was…lobster with nothing else on it slapped on some bread. The truffle fries were amazing.
