My hubby and I visited this place today while visiting in Denver. The young lady that took our order was pleasantly nice at first when asking about the menu items. Well that turn around quickly when we wasn’t happy with our food that we ate anyway I had the chicken greens and macaroni. The chicken was dry and I picked through most of it greens and macaroni were ok. Keep in mind this food was supposed to be made from scratch. My hubby ask was the banana pudding made from scratch she replied yes, we make it on top of the stove. When we got it there was no way this mess was made from scratch or stove top. It didn’t even look good! When we begin to tell her about the food she kindly cut us off and told us how we could pay our ticket which was over $40 wasted money!! The fact she lied about the food being made from scratch and did not offer an apology to us tells me this business won’t last very long.

Visited Q’s on a Friday for lunch around 11:30 or so. We were the only people there with a large group expected sometime after we arrived. Very clean and spacious setup. Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game or sports. Service was good, only one person working tables while we were there, which proved challenging with the large group coming in just after us. Lots of options on the menu. That said, the food was ok but nothing to write home about. As someone born and raised in the south, I had high hopes for this restaurant but we won’t be back.

I wish I could put more stars.. I was greeted with kindness, served with care.. and the food? Ohhhh my – easily the best food I’ve have in a very long time. Souch flavor from one item to the next, and the juiciest most tender brisket ever. I will absolutely be coming back, and telling everyone I know to stop in to not only fill their bellies but feed their soul. Thank you so much, and compliments to the chef, the staff, and the Owner.

Like others have said, restaurant is spacious and has several TVs but not an obnoxious amount. I enjoyed my catfish very much, but the beans were just okay. We got our drinks super fast but the food took a decent amount of time. Getting the check also took a long time, even without us being in a hurry it felt long. I’d come back, but would have to try a different side.

It was great a year ago. Brisket is 90% fat tonight. They were out of potatoe salad, so I had the Mac and cheese, not good. Ordered sweet tea, never got it. Cold bbq sauce in a side container.

Probably the worst bbq, maybe worst food, I’ve had in Colorado and I was born here. We had to wait so long for our take out order. The disappointment just kept coming. Brisket is all liquidy, Mac n cheese is really basic like something you’d get from a public school, the dirty rice tasted like a spoonful of Cajun spice and nothing else, baked beans are full of jalapeños (I don’t mind spice, but it was a ridiculous amount). The potato salad tastes like watery mustard and relish. Are positive reviews coming from friends? Or did they just lose taste due to COVID and don’t know the difference? Either way, beware.

Place is spacious. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Wasn’t busy as at all. Only one server was working but she handled everything decently with only two tables. The food was nothing to write home about. The soda was flat and the tea was watered down. I had the hot link and was surprised how much flavor there was. The texas toast was the highlight of the meal. Banana pudding was made from scratch which was also a plus. We waited 15minutes after we finished eating to receive the check. I would say the service in this place can be improved.

Are you from the south? Are you missing some southern comfort food? Well your in luck cause I highly recommend Qs. I’ve been eating here sense they were just a food truck. My kids LOVE to eat here (they are picky eaters) The Mac and cheese is so creamy and delicious. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork, cat fish and cornbread are to die for!

Walked in and greeted fast and handed 2 menus, was told to sit where every we want. We sat and ordered; we waiting a normal amount of time to get food. We got our food and we had to ask the server where are sodas we ordered were. So we got our sodas after we received our meals. Food was a big disappointment, I have had barbecue all over the United States and this was by far below average. Taste like boiled meat until you added barbecue sauce . Coleslaw was warm. Texas toast was the only thing that tasted good. We did not get checked on during our meal at all. We went to bar asked for butter and some extra napkins, it took 20min for us to get them. After eating we sat forever to pay the check. This place needs to be very careful they are oblivious how bad there service is and there below average food for a brick and motor restaurant. I had more fat then meat on my meal. We will not be back and I do not recommend this establishment at all. These other reviews must be friends and family because there is no way people are giving this place 3, 4 or 5 stars.

I tried this restaurant the other day after it was recommended to me and, I’m definitely glad I gave it a shot. The food was absolutely amazing!! I had the brisket and dirty rice. The brisket was cooked just right and very tender . The dirty rice was not over or under cooked and had the perfect amount of spice. (If you’re sensitive to spicy foods, I’d stay away from the rice.) My friend had the smoked chicken and he loved it. We’ll be back for sure and this is a must go when looking for soul food.
