Qdoba used to be one of my favorite Mexican cuisine restaurants. I recommend Chipotle over Qdoba, but Qdoba is still decent. I came in today, and the service was fast and friendly. Price was priced just about what you’d expect. The atmosphere was also clean.

I refuse to go to this location anymore because of the lady that works here. She is extremely rude and makes my portions small every time I’ve gone. When I go to other Qdoba’s they give me an actual portion of food worth my money. Not to mention she’s incredibly rude and doesn’t feel welcoming at all, why would I want to go somewhere I don’t feel welcome. It doesn’t seem like the other employees like her much either from the way I’ve seen her interact with them. She rushes me whenever I order and is very short with me whenever I come in. I’m done going to this location and would recommend anyone who wants correct portions and friendly service to avoid this Qdoba as well.

UPDATE: This location has had some issues in the recent past. I visited just yesterday for lunch with my daughter. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! The staff was different from the last time I visited. They were all smiles and so helpful. All of the food was fresh. There wasn’t much of a line…but one of the employees was making door dash orders as they came in…not leaving a bunch of paper on the printer as some other locations do. The employee working the line was fast and very professional. The selection of food was very well stocked for a lunch time, and was VERY FRESH!! As always, with Qdoba, we got a lot of food for the price. My daughter wasn’t able to finish her meal so she got a lid for her bowl. I on the other hand, I had to buy a walker from the neighboring Home Depot because I ate my entire bowl…and had to be wheeled out to the car.

Worst customer service! I’m not one to leave reviews but this store is ran by a bunch of lazy teenagers. Went in for my food with about 3 hours to close. They were out of a lot of things including a few meat options and chips and shells. The lady at the front told me it wasn’t possible to make more and they were just out and kept laughing about it with the manager in the back when I asked if they could just make more and I’ll wait. Continued to laugh and just irritate me so i didn’t order and just left. Went to another location on briargate had fully stocked everything and super nice. Manager told me there if they were out of things they would have the fryer up and running and he said they should be stocked up because what would qdoba be without most of the things they were out of at the previous store. Moral of the story I will NOT return to the academy store until better management and work staff

Wow this location has gone down hill. Orderd a steak quesadilla. They offered me nothing else and asked no questions, gave me a tortiila with steak and cheese in it. Did not offer sour cream or guac , nothing. Handed me a container already closed right from the grill, inside a basic steak quesadilla. Only customer in the store. Got it home 1/3 of the quesadilla was just cheese, not a sliver of steak, The other 2/3 were good. This for $11.31. I guess you could argue its on me , I could have said “Hey, can i have some pico, sour cream , and guac ?” but I have never had to ask before , they normally ask you as they make it…..

Very good Mexican chain better than Chipolte in my opinion because any topping is fair game and not an extra charge unlike Chipolte, just the meats slightly vary in prices, just as good if not better too.
