The food looked better than it tasted. We were pretty disappointed with our food but maybe we just ordered the wrong items. The seafood tower looked good but we went with the ribeye instead. The steak was cooked perfectly but there was no seasoning on the steak. The bread was probably the best thing we ordered. The mussels were also pretty good with a strong curry taste. The tuna nachos was not good at all. We also ordered the watermelon mojito and it came out tasting like juice instead of an alcoholic drink. Overall, I probably wouldn’t come back and if I did, I would definitely try the seafood tower.

My whole experience is worth more then a 5 star rating. The food was delicious, presentation was on point and the ambiance radiated good vibes. I ordered many dishes to achieve the entire experience and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and most important personable. Kelly with a “Y” (inside joke) was the sweetest hostess. I shared with my server that I had traveled from Texas to have this dining experience and Tamara the GM came over and welcomed me in the most kindest way. In addition, the highlight for me was meeting Chef Q! Although he was busy, he stopped to chat with me and took a few pictures. He was extremely nice, humble, and radiated good vibes by his infectious smile. All of this listed above is why it’s worth visiting this establishment.

Im torn whether to write a 5 star review based on my first review or a 3 star based on my online Togo order weeks later. So I’m going to round it out. The service has always been outstanding and accommodating. I couldn’t say more nice things about them and the chef/owner, who makes it a point to try to check in with every table which I love. The food tastes amazing. The things I have tried so far, the braised prime short rib, Lobster bites, peach cobbler, and key lime pie. Every single thing has been amazing. So amazing that, weeks later I’m sitting at home and craving the short rib. I pick it up, everything was hot and ready in a timely manner. I get home and find that at least half of the short rib was straight fat. Insanely disappointing. The part that wasn’t, was just as great as I remembered. Just upsetting that there wasn’t a full portion. Regardless, I 100% recommend, the best upscale restaurant I’ve found in this area.

OMG, what a treat! We absolutely loved our experience here… Incredible service, amazing atmosphere, great drinks, and the food was incredible. The chef came out to our table to personally check on our experience, which I thought was just awesome. If you’re looking for a specific meal, this is the place. I already am looking forward to our next visit back.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS RESTAURANT!! It’s only 15 minutes from home. The vibe is very nice, relaxing. Everyone seemed to be having a great time!! The food was delicious! From start to finish! LOVED EVERYTHING! Will DEFINITELY be going back! Chef Q must’ve visited every table at some point in the evening. The fact that he is a Black business owner & and a Veteran, just made the experience even better! I’m an Army Veteran, and my husband is an Air Force Veteran, and we’re always looking to support fellow Veterans. SORRY, the desert was almost gone before I realized I didn’t get a picture!! The bread pudding & carrot cake were phenomenal I LOVE BREAD PUDDING!!!

We had a reservation at 7:30 and weren’t seated for about 15 min which what’s the point of a reservation? However it was worth the small wait. Sides are a la carte and they will let you know that. Automatic 18% gratuity which is also brought to your attention after dining. Ordered lobster bites, cowboy ribeye, short rib. All of it amazing. Tender juicy and flavorful. I have never had a steak so evenly cooked in my entire dining life. The short rib was fall apart. Ordered a glass of moscato, should’ve looked it up before spending 15 dollars on a glass of wine when a bottle is 9.99 at the store. Chef Q came by and said hi and told us goodbye when we left so felt welcomed. 100% will eat here again.

Today my group and I had a wonderful experience at Q1227 in Roseville. We had a 5:30pm reservation. Parking was very convenient for that time. We arrived a little early and was seated right away, outdoor seating. The place was very busy. We ordered some appetizers, smoked chicken lolipop was very tender, chicken fried lobster bites had a sauce similar to chipotle, fried okra, and black eyed pea hummus (flavorful not oily or overly spicy). Our server was pleasant. We ordered a few glasses of . We should have gotten a bottle instead. The appetizers arrived about 20-25 minutes later. For our entrées we had southern fried chicken w/mashed potatoes, house meatloaf w/mashed potatoes, roasted vegetable flatbread, ribeye cap, pan seared scallops, parmesan crisp broccolini, seared Atlantic Salmon. Our entrées arrived about 30-40 minutes later. Lovely presentation and we all loved our meal. Aside from the delicious food and great atmosphere, the outdoor chairs weren’t the most comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend Q1227 Restaurant and it gets two .

They opened a little late. But that was forgiven as we stepped in and were greeted by happy, smiling staff who took our drink and food orders promptly. Downside: table orders not all served together. Upside: your order is served as soon as its ready so it’s hot and fresh.
