We had a really great time trying their omakase testing menu which was around $90/person. The only downside is for reserving a table you have to reserve with a credit card, but they don’t charge until you leave the meal. I believe the cancellation fee is around $45 so definitely don’t go unless you’re committed.

We got the chef’s tasting menu for $90 (excl gratuity and taxes) which started off pretty strong with some delicious appetizers but tapered off in flavor towards the end with rolls that should have been the star of the tasting menu. Plating, presentation, service were all 5 star. Hamachi with dehydrated corn and coconut sauce was the standout.

This place was alright. The sushi taste-wise was okay, I felt like it could’ve used some more flavor.

After ordering takeout from there on a whim, Q Sushi immediately became a regular spot for me and my boyfriend. Oni, Jin, Stephen, Mike, and the rest of the crew make this one of our favorite spots to dine in the whole city, and we recommend it to all our friends! Would give 6 stars if I could.

I’ve had the Omakase both times I’ve been here. It’s absolutely worth it as I’ve been impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the presentation. Chef Oni and the staff are great, and you definitely won’t leave disappointed (or hungry).

Food was delicious but I’m leaving a negative review because the restaurant denied my wife’s disability accommodation which is illegal and violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Here’s the story: my wife has an invisible disability which requires her to have a medical alert service animal. It’s a small dog that is easy to transport. He doesn’t “look like” a typical service dog. The service animal is still crucial in a medical emergency for my wife’s condition. We came in and at first they said we couldn’t dine inside because of “the pet.” Her service animal is NOT a pet. He’s medical equipment, the same as a wheelchair or oxygen container. My wife told the hostess and manager that they couldn’t deny him (the service animal) entry, and they said “let me talk to the manager.” They then lied to us and said there wasn’t any space inside (there was) and that we’d have to wait for the patio to open up an outdoor table. We gladly waited and the food was absolutely excellent.

After leaving, my partner and I agreed that this was the best sushi experience we’ve ever had. Everything we had on the menu was almost absurdly delicious. The scallops were as sweet and the fat on a perfectly grilled ribeye. Will definitely return for more.

Wonderful Omakase experience. Chef had a great personality and fantastic pairing. Enjoyed each dish which was paired perfectly. Had sea urchin from Japan as a special which melted in your mouth. I’m a regular at Q, but the Omakase took everything to the next level. Would highly recommend this experience.

Had the Omakase for two, one premium sake pairing and one regular sake pairing for a birthday. The place was smaller than expected, and more of a laid-back vibe than a upscale vibe. I expected a more luxurious setting because of the price tag ($350 before tips). The staff was friendly; food and drinks were good but again, does not match the price tag in my opinion. My girlfriend enjoyed it very much, though. She enjoyed the staff’s banters as well as the food and the sake, which was fantastic to see.
