We enjoyed our Purple Olive experience. The lamb chops , short ribs, filet mignon pizza and roasted olives were phenomenal. We got the malbec but found it too warm and the chef would not allow me to take home MY bones home and instead threw them away. That was kinda creepy!

Purple Olive catered our wedding and WOW. They were so accommodating to our requests and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner even helped me set up the menu and portion sizes while he was on vacation with his family. Talk about about above and beyond! This was our first time to the Purple Olive and already I am looking forward to going back. We visit St. Augustine a few times a year and have yet to find a ‘favorite’ restaurant. The Purple Olive hit all of our criteria. It is family owned, intimate and we found they excelled at the quality and taste of the food as well as service. Our server, Jill was friendly and went the extra mile to help us decide on our entrees. There are SO MANY great things on the menu that I would never cook at home. My husband had the artichoke pasta dish with shrimp and I had the chef’s special halibut. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. Such a delight to find this restaurant. It is less than 10 miles from down town and an easy drive. I am 100% sure you will be glad you gave it a try.

My husband and I are in town celebrating our anniversary. We just ate at this amazing restaurant tonight! I have to be gluten free and the options here are out if this world awesome! Staff was super sweet and attentive, food was seriously 2 of the best meals we have ever had! We recommend this place to anyone! But gluten free foodies…it is a treasure for sure! Super charming decor as well. It will be a destination stop for us every time we are in this area from here on out!

An absolute treasure in St. Augustine. Was greeted warmly by host and sat promptly. Ordered the Macadamia Salmon and the Chocolate Pecan Gateau for dessert. Our server Charyl was simply lovely and one of the best servers we have ever had.
