Food was hot, which is good. We ordered chips and salsa, which do not come with the meal or before it. It wasnt expensive it was just surprising. Husband ate his, felt very bloated afterwards. I ate a bit of mine, it was good. Bold colors, Flavors seemed lkke.it just needed salt. I would go back, however, my food tasted better second day.

Food is good and prepared quickly to order. Staff will modify items on menu for an upcharge. Created a steak, chicken, shrimp burrito for another customer while I was there. I called it the 420 burrito. Staff was friendly and seemed to recognize regulars. Atmosphere is average nothing spectacular

Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the fish tacos. They were full of flavor and we’re good size. I also had a cheese quesadilla and it was cooked just how I like it. Golden brown and stuffed full of melted cheese. The lobby was a little on the dirty side and the staff was kind of short and seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Overall I would eat here again.

Everything was amazing, down to the consistency of the guacamole. Everything tasted amazing. Best taquitos I’ve had in a while. Their tortilla chips were my only critique, they honestly hurt my teeth with how hard they were. Other than that, 10/10. I will be bringing my family back.

First time staying in Springfield. Was recommended Purple Burrito. It was okay. The food was a little bland. Chicken salad was good. Once we put the salsa and cheese sauce on our food, it was great. Cheese sauce was amazing and so were the churros.

The chicken was pretty dry the last time I ate here. It is usually not the case, especially during peak lunch hours. I got the chicken taco lunch special which came with 2 tacos, soupy beans, and dry flavorless rice. Maybe just an off day for the cooks but this is an unusual performance for purple burrito.

I read some of the other reviews of the Purple Burrito, and all I can think is that if you’re looking for Tex-Mex DON’T come here! Thank GOODNESS this restaurant exists! When they say it’s real Southern California Mexican food, they mean it! Everything I’ve eaten here is delicious and perfectly served. Fresh and flavorful. We live in Arkansas, and tell all of our friends who come to visit that they should fly into Springfield, just so we can eat here. The carne asada burrito and rolled tacos are perfect, every time. Served with a smile. Can’t wait to come back again!
