We live near this place, but had yet to try it. We were pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food we ordered. I had read other reviews about the pupusas. I didn’t even know what a pupusa was. Well, they are great! It’s a thick corn tortilla stuffed with various ingredients. We had the pork and cheese pupusas. I also ordered the fajitas mixta. Wow! That plate of chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas was great! It was so big, I had to get a take box. My wife ordered the steak and chicken plate (I forgot the name) and she enjoyed it too. Do yourself a favor and try this place!!

Do yourself a favor and stop here on your way to or from the river. It was so fresh and delicious. I had the pupusa platter with spinach and squash stuffed pupusa. They are like stuffed grilled tortillas if you’re not familiar. So good, and served with black beans and rice and the best fried plantains I’ve ever had. Sweet and crispy! Also had the empanadas. Excellent crispy crust on those and a very large portion for sharing the appetizer. Tres leches cake was dessert. It was delicious and the texture was great, with an ice-creamy layer at the bottom. Husbands had the steak tacos and he says they are tasty. I also recommend the chermoula salsa. It’s fruity and mildly spicy. So go get some pupusa! I’ll be back.
