We were the only gringos eating lunch there, so we knew we were in for some delicious authentic food! Came for the pupusas, but it was the tacos that blew us away! Both were good, but the tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had, especially the carne asada. Curtido flavor wasn’t my favorite, but it was fine. Their bottle of green sauce was excelente!

Salvadoran food is less spicy than Mexican food. Breakfast included fried plantains which tastes like a semi-sweet banana. The bakery and grocery store had interesting items we had never seen before. I’d go back for the experience unless a much better restaurant was an option.

Half grocery store half restaurant. Pupusas are SO good with so many options. Staff is very friendly and will work through any language barriers. Rice and beans are such a tasty side too.

This Salvadoran restaurant has such delicious food! We had the asada tacos and pollo tacos… so flavorful and good. Our first time to try pupusas. Got the Pork and Beans one. Wonderful and tasty… so glad we tried them. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Right now they have limited produce, which before they always had a great selection of fresh items. Great place to get Mexican sweet bread.

The food is good, but what I have a problem with is the service. It’s been twice that we go and there’s maybe one other person besides us and we see them get their food and then another 10-15 minutes go by and we still haven’t got our food. More people come in, order, get their food and we’re still waiting. The first time we went up to ask and the guy that took our order said he forgot to where he put our ticket so they didn’t make our order yet after half an hour. The second time, the girl that took our order kept avoiding eye contact and kept serving other people. Almost 40 minutes later she brought out our cold food without a word. It’s a shame we won’t be back because I really enjoy the food, but they need to have better customer service.
