Great peaceful clean environment. Great Seafood Soup, Carne Asada was a bit tougher than normal Carne Asadas I’m used to at Salvadorean restaurants and just a tiny bit drier, but not by any means unacceptable. Just lately I’ve found very good ones, so this was just under those. The rice was delicious as was the salad. The beverage: Marañon- was so great I had to order a 2nd portion (unlike me) so this tells you how good it was. I’ve had the Pupusas here and give them a solid 8. Plenty of parking on the main side of the center and just walked to the side businesses. No big deal. Easy.

First off pupusa’s we’re delicious. Secondly hands down most variety of options of pupusa’s to choose from. Fruit salad drink was memorable and the huge chicken breast I got with my sopa was unexpected.

The food was cooked just as I expected. The restaurant inside dining is very clean. The waitress took my order and it came out fast. I would recommend this place AS BEING A FAMILY FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. NO ALCOHOL, MEANS PEOPLE WILL ACT KINDLY AND WITH GOOD MANNERS.

I have been to el Comalito restaurant in Germantown when I lived there the food was excellent so now I live down silver spring and decided to try the newly open El Comalito pupuseria .. let me start by saying the only good thing was the Orchata.. pupusas are awful !!!!! And I’m giving it a two star to be nice they were literally falling apart like not good and the chicharrón Pupusas tasted old not going back not to mention the area is looking like a crime scene and not very safe parking on the side or the back ..the service was ok the restaurant was fairly empty and was clean lots of tables.

Food is good but the pupusa order is completely wrong, no honey with the nuegados, and the side of platanos only has 5 small pieces. Not what I’m used to when ordering from here. Very disappointing.

My favorite pupusa place! They give you a lot of the curtido (cabbage mix) and tomato sauce so ask for less if you have a lot of orders. The nuegados are good.

I used to enjoy the mondongo soup and revueltas w the salad. This time, the soup only had chayotes as veggie (my husband dislike it)The repollo salad was spicy, and the lemon was hard as a rock. Not enjoyable this time.

Great pupusas. first time trying this place out and it was amazing. the sauce they have for them has such great flavor. The pupusas themselves have a good ratio of filling to tortilla , and are cook we prefectly. Not burnt or too underdone like other places my family has tried. Very happy with this place and wish them good luck. Will definitely come back and recommend this place for anyone who wants try.
