Punta cana restaurant is a nice place to get lunch. The food is good, the service is better than the food to be honest. I think the prices are a little to high, the place is huge with an outside dining. The food so far has been good and service could be better. I’m leaving an honest review because it’s honestly the way I’ve been treated every time I have visited. It seems as if the employees are trained to treat the men better than the women here. I have walked in with my fiancé and have been offered service almost immediately every time. Today I went in (at not a busy time) and not only did one of the employees shut the door in my face before entering, they made me wait at least 5 minutes before offering me service and I was the only person at the counter. Finally someone asked what I wanted and I ordered. A few minutes later a few guys walked in and were greeted friendly and in a welcoming manner. I am literally one of the friendliest people therefore I know my persona had nothing to do with the lack of attention I was given. Also, it seems as if they take their phone off the hook as to not receive any phone orders at a certain time of the day. Which truly inconveniences people who don’t have much time to stand around and wait 15-20 minutes for food. I am a business owner and many times work alone. I cannot leave my business alone for too long. If they would treat everyone equally and maybe be a bit more friendly I wouldn’t mind going back. However, I’ll send my fiancé to get food from now on. This is not a negative review, it’s hoping they can do better.

I made an order over the phone for 8 empanadas and I explained that the order was for my company, that I was trying to bring our business to Punta Cana Restaurant. I go to the restaurant and again explain that I was trying to bring business to them, the lady at the counter gives me the order and when I get to my job and opened the bags, the beef and cheese empanadas were fine but the beef ones were dripping oil everywhere the bag was oily and looked like they were REFRIED. Terrible. I guess we are not switching restaurants and they lost around $180.00 weekly from us.

Smells great inside and food looks good! But they have menu boards up and just $ sign with no prices. So unless money is not an issue or you don’t care the cost then try it. I care about cost and dont speak Spanish to easily ask. One lady speaks no English and I had to ask prices to cashier in front of people trying to pay and holding them up so I left with no food. It’s a chalkboard menu and intentionally leaving off price off. Very uncomfortable for someone who does not speak Spanish to know cost.
