First time here, I was frustrated because they were out of ribs! I told my sever I would need a few more minutes because it was my first time. She suggested the pork chops. I normally do not go out and have chops. I did, however, agree to it this time. What a surprise! These were probably the best pork chops I have ever eaten in a restaurant setting. Tender as can possibly be, not dry in any way. Awesome meal, service on point, pricing competitive. I’ll definitely be returning for my ribs

We came into the restaurant about 6 pm, and were immediately seated. It got much busier over the next 45 minutes. Food was great, and a good variety of selections. Our waitress offered us an alternative selection for supper from what we originally were going to order – and we were glad we took her up on her selections. A free “red” plate of a variety of pickle bar items was a nice added touch.

The place was super busy. All the employees seem to pull together and help each other out making for an awesome experience. I had the fried mushrooms and rib and fish plate with a baked potato and macaroni and cheese for sides. The catfish and ribs both had awesome flavor and I loved the salt skin of the baked potato. Their sauces seemed like they were made in house and had a great flavor but were a bit runny. Over a great place to eat and i highly recommend it!

Punkins Bar-B-Que & Catfish is hands down the best place to eat! The owners are the kindest, hardest working, and generous people you will ever meet. Every time we eat at Punkins, we are greeted with a smile and a kind word from their staff. From the wait staff to the cooks to the cashiers, all employees at Punkins go above and beyond for their customers. There is no better place to eat comfort food in a more welcoming environment!! Their catfish and tartar sauce is to die for!! Their blackberry cobbler is THE BEST!!! Always have to take some home!!! Highly recommend this homemade food!!!

We were driving from Nebraska to Texas and wanted to stop for some bbq. We were very happy with this place. Food was great, service was quick, portions were large. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Husband had the rib dinner. One son had an angus burger and other son had chicken sandwich.
