It is beyond sad that there are no good Pakistani restaurants in Boston. This one is unfortunately more disappointing than expected of most Pakistani-owned eateries in the area. Craving a taste of home, I ordered one “full” Chicken Karahi and one order of Seekh Kabab from them through UberEATS for a whopping $75. Unfortunately, unlike other North-Indian-style/titled offerings on their menu, the Chicken Karahi is only available in two sizes: $30 ($29.90) for a half, and $40 something for a full. Extremely, extremely overpriced but I decided to take the plunge as the more expensive was more economical in comparison. After waiting for over an hour for my very, very expensive food order, what I got was what looked like a failed try at a chicken biryani. I have never had food show up at my doorstep via a delivery app that was so poorly packed, with box/ container semi-open, leaking into an unsecured thin paper bag, and cold, stale food that I “did not” order. And not only was my order completely incorrect, what arrived instead of it was so awful looking and smelling that I somewhat felt relieved I would be able to get my money back from Uber, never to order from here again. I was surprised at the whole situation but also not surprised. I sent the restaurant a note via Uber and followed up with a call where no one was able to connect me to someone responsible I could register my complaint with. No one got back to me through the app as well. All in all, I would’ve given it zero stars if I could for bad food and negligent customer service. But you have to give a star to write a review.

Kind of a small ‘hole in the wall’ place, but they keep it looking very quaint and the food is absolutely delicious! Go for the buffet one day if you don’t know what you like.

Okay, so the food is really good, however, the service is sub-par. It is almost an entirely take out business, but every time I have gone to pick up my order, it takes a noticeably long time for anyone to come out from the kitchen. Their business hours are all over the place. Sometimes they are randomly closed for no reason. They really need to be better about keeping their hours up to date. I wish I could give a better review, because honestly I think it’s the best Indian food in the area, and there is a lot of competition.

Average buffet for the price. Limited options and horrible taste.

Food is delicious. But they are never open. I just placed an order online and went there after 25 minutes to pick it up. Walked in and they said they are closed. Not worth your time ordering from here as it will be wasted

They have two employees. When you walk in, you have to ring the bell on the counter for someone to come to the front. You can order an individual meal for under $20 and this includes the drink. They sell lamb, goat, chicken, and fish meals. The food is good. They even cater. Even though you’re eating in, they bring the food to you in to go containers with a paper plate and plastic eating utensils. They had multiple drinks listed on the menu, but they only had ginger ale. While you’re waiting for your meal to be prepared, they bring ice water to your table and it is refreshing. There’s nothing fancy about this place, but it is clean and the food is good and the staff is accomodating.

Brilliant food here. Although our order took awhile to come out of the kitchen, it came right from the hands of a master chef/owner. The flavors were real, complex, care-filled. Our (vegetarian) pakoras were crisp and light, and each (vegetarian) entree each elicited its own unique own chorus of WOWS. We can’t wait for next time. Bravo, Punjabi Grill!

Very poor service and no business sense – negative stars is what I would like but had to put 1 just to post. I called to check opening hours as I live far away and was told the restaurant is open ’till the evening’. I came all the way with my family at 4pm to be told that the chef is leaving for a catering event and that we can not be served! On a Saturday at 4pm after calling a couple of hours earlier and confirming that they are open!!! The same woman who answered the phone and said they are open till the evening is the one who greeted us that we cannot be served. When we pushed it with her about why she made us come all the way, she said we can be seated and eat whatever the Chef has! So we were going to be served remains from an earlier open buffet!! What poor quality of everything.. I would never set foot there again and will tell this story as an example of short-term business vision and the worse customer experience ever.

I give them a one star for wasting my time. And gas. They said they were open. And when I got there they were closed. This is 5 Pm on a Saturday night. Who does that? I can understand if Monday and they close early cuz no business or Tuesday. So we ended up in Nawabi up the street which was decent. But pricey for what it was.
