This is a great addition and unique spot for the Athens food scene. The owners are personable and kind people- and it shows in their food and drinks. Best whiskey ginger I’ve ever had. The 20% flat gratuity is a genius model that I wish was adopted by more restaurants across town. Anyone who says otherwise can go eat at Subway. 5/5- favorite long dinner spot with friends.

Puma Yu’s does incredible things with incredible ingredients!! As someone who has a hand in growing the local produce they cook with, I can earnestly say that they start with quality and integrity from the very foundation and transform it into cohesive, creative, divine dishes. My experiences eating at Puma Yu’s have been DELICIOUS and I can’t recommend them enough! If you’re looking to treat yourself on a night out you will not be disappointed !!!

The food was great, especially the rarity of having a chance to enjoy a full fish dish complemented by Thai sauce. The chicken wings were also quite satisfying. The noodles were average in relation to their price.

The cuisine really stands out in a crowed field of excellent restaurants here in Athens. My wife and I went here for date night and really enjoyed the food and the drinks. The cocktails we had were excellent and the service was attentive but not overbearing. The dining room was modern and bright, but on the small side, so I can imagine it might be a bit loud if it’s full, but I can’t specifically comment on that and it’s not a big deal for us. We sat inside but I’m excited to sit outside when the weather permits. We had several small dishes, including a mushroom salad which was very good. We shared a whole fish, which was also excellent. We will definitely keep this on our date-night/special occasion rotation.

Athens is lucky to have Puma Yu’s! Incredible food & cocktails in a beautiful setting with both indoor & outdoor seating. The whole fried fish was AMAZING I wish I could have it every day. You can really see how much love & hard work the owners, chefs & service staff put into the restaurant on a daily basis. We visited from VA and the entire experience was perfect from start to finish!

Puma Yu’s is a true gem in Athens. Pete is an amazing chef who brings interesting and exciting ingredients and stellar execution to all the dishes on the menu. The whole fish is incredible. All the noodles are deliciously slurpable. The veggies are all fresh and many local and I love that several dishes celebrate a single vegetable elevated. The wings are insane. We love wine and Ally has a great palate and every bottle she suggests has been amazing, the cocktail menu is sublime. The decor, woodwork and art create a really great vibe. We love the Athens food and beverage scene and the people who make it special. Puma Yu’s makes sure the servers and staff who work hard to create a special dining experience are making a livable wage by adding a service charge and we’re 100% good with that.

My sister and our husbands went out for a date night in the spring (sans kids) and splurged and ordered the whole menu. We had a long cozy dinner with tons of great food and laughs. We enjoyed a variety of their cocktails we had heard so much about and they did not disappoint! MARGARITAS for the win! All the dishes were unique and flavorful. Best money spent on a babysitter and can’t wait to share more laughs in this great new addition to Athens. Staff was informative, friendly and brightened the experience.
