Quiet day that I went in too. Fast and friendly service. Good and tasty smoothie similar to closer location, maybe better

When I’m in the mood for a healthier lunch, I’ll go to Pulp for a chicken wrap and small smoothie. Both are always very good. The service is quick as well. I can usually call ahead and pick up my food five minutes later. It comes out to around $12 for those two items. I know it’s a corporate thing, but the biggest downside to me is all the single use food containers. The wraps come in a pretty heavy duty plastic to-go container and the smoothies come in a styrofoam cup with a plastic lid and straw. If the company could find a way to use better packaging, I wouldn’t hesitate to give five stars.

Ordered a green shake with kale.Thankfully I saw that they put in yellow old kale and were about to blend it when I stopped them. This is so crazy to try to use up old, discolored veggies into your so called healthy shake that is $9

When this Pulp opened in 2020, I was working just a five-minute walk away. It was the first Pulp I ever visited – a typical COVID era exchange (get in, get order, get out), but it was enough to make me obsessed.

Families beware and avoid this store! Yesterday (7/4/22) I was discreetly and innocently nursing my baby at a corner table at the Chesterland location. Pulp sent out a worker — a teenage boy — to tell me that his “manager asked that I cover up or go to the bathroom to do ‘that’.” Referring to me nursing my baby. I politely listened to the teenager and simply said “no.” The teenager proceeded to tell me how “inappropriate” i was. (Mind you I was wearing a dress designed to discreetly nurse and had a shaw over that.) This is wrong on so many levels! I am federally protected by law to feed my baby in a public setting, not to mention the creepy workers who were clearly just watching me and shaming a young mom with a baby. I used the bathroom before I sat down in the corner to nurse my baby and the bathroom was filthy and the lock didn’t even work, but sure let me go sit on the gross toilet to feed my baby in there. I wonder if the manager likes to eat in the bathroom as well?? This store, its manager and its workers need to be educated on what is truly “inappropriate” and about women’s right. This store is not family friendly or coherent about today’s world (did the manager forget we are in the middle of a baby formula shortage?!) A little compassion and acceptance would have been nice. The whole experience was shameful and I hate to imagine how they’d handle other situations. It’s 2022 — read the room Chesterland Pulp.

This establishment is shameful. We were enjoying a peaceful lunch and my wife was nursing our daughter and a teenage boy employee came and asked her to “do that” in the bathroom. This establishment needs educated in breastfeeding laws and needs to stop shamming women who are trying to feed their kids

For the price, you’d think that you’d get something better then just bland. We ordered two smoothies & a lemonade. All three went into the trash can. I find it odd that the smallest size they offer is a “kids” and it’s the size of an adults medium coffee cup elsewhere. $15 out the window. When I think smoothie, I think frozen/milkshake consistency (not watered down liquid) loaded with fresh fruits that are tasteful & flavorful. These were nothing like that. Couldn’t taste anything other then a bitter, powdered like vitamin taste that was atrocious. Neither had any flavor.. Very bland, very overpriced. Also, their version of lemonade is nothing nothing close to what you’d expect either. It has an odd color & a frothy dark yellow layer on top, and the actual taste can’t be described. If you’re looking for a delicious smoothie with all natural ingredients & fresh fruit that you can actually TASTE…I suggest Buckeye Chocolate. 2 stars is for the nice employees behind the counter..(I would hope they normally would be wearing gloves though)
