Small place, great food. Although it lacks parking space, I can’t complain. We were able to park and sit down in one of their outdoor tables. The food didn’t take long and it was great. One of the cooks even gave us a few pieces of crunchy pork skin free. Everything had a good flavor, and the portions were more than enough.

Quick and delicious… portions and prices are super decent, and my favorite part was the frituras! Or Puerto Rican empanadas… I simply love them, but this place makes them super good. To be honest, it took me a really long time to visit that place… I knew they were around, and I was told by many people that they had been there that typically they would have a long line to place your order BUT I went there early soon after opening and was able to be served super fast. I am pretty sure that they will need to upgrade the size of the parking soon due to client traffic. If you are looking for something super tasty and fast definitely stop by that place.

Best Puerto Rican food I have had locally. The guava and cheese pastry, pernil, arroz con gandules and tostones were good. Good portions. The empanadas looked and smelled great but never got to taste them because I forgot to put them in the fridge and had to throw them out. Good food. I will definitely return to try more of their menu.

Amazing Pernil y arroz con gandules! Classic Puerto Rican flavors. Also had the empanadas de pollo, also great. Can’t wait to try their Fricase de pollo and pollo guisada. So happy to find a place that serves these dishes. Thank you to the chef and everyone working there- will definitely be back!

If you’re missing authentic and delicious Puerto Rican food that makes you think they got an abuelita back there, then this is the place to go! The arroz con gandules is delicious and well seasoned, the Carne fritas were deliciously seasoned, so tender and the crispy bits were amazing. We also had tostones, habicbuelas roasadas (red kidney beans) which I have to really compliment not holding back on our seasonings, so flavorful! The best surprise is that they have Pan de Agua so we were so excited. Please note it’s a takeout place only and limited parking but worth it! We sat in a parking lot and melted into our seats because we couldn’t wait to eat it and everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for bringing a piece of home here to our area, my soul desperately needed this today!

My family and I love the food and service here at the Puerto Rico Café. We looked forward to Saturday and Sundays just to grab lunch/dinner from here. The food is top tier. It was so hard to find decent Hispanic food in the DMV area so I am very grateful for finding the Puerto Rico Café. It reminds me so much of home (New York). 10/10 highly recommend. I’ve catered their food for a birthday dinner and also for meal prep during the week for my family.

This place came highly recommended to me when I was looking for catering. I never even heard of them, but the reviews were so good, I decided to cater without trying them first.

The food is very authentic, reminds me of home and is almost as good as Abulas cooking The portions are huge I usually share with someone and have leftovers. They are currently only open on Saturday & Sunday but they are definitely worth the trip, be sure to check out their instagram for the new menu. I suggest getting there as early as possible because they sell out fast. I’m so excited to have delicious Puerto Rican food locally

This place transports my taste buds back home to when my mom and grandma used to make meals like this. The Pernil reminds me of my mom’s when she’d make it for the holidays. And don’t even get me started on the Maduros (sweet plantains). Everything about this place is incredible. (chefs kiss).

Food is delicious. Definitely would go back. Downside is parking is limited or have to park in building behind or on the street no big deal just hard with kids. Don’t mind eating outside but on a hot day it can be a little hard to bare. Aside from that the service is very good and food is great.
