Pueblito Mexican Restaurant is a family owned and operated business and has been serving the Chico and Durham areas since 2005. The story started with a food truck California Tacos. In 2016 Pueblito in Durham opened it’s doors with a tremendous support and love from the community, later in 2020 Pueblito opened their second location in Chico. The Plascencia family is pleased to offer their customers the best Mexican food and invite you to visit any of their establishments for a unique experience and authentic flavors.

The service has gone downhill they overcharged us and the food was greasy and the service was not professional. The tea I ordered had stuff in it and because I felt not comfortable about drinking it and asked to have it taken off the order the waitress was rude and said no she doesn’t have that authority. But you could hear them laughing in the kitchen. I will not come back here in the future. I do not recommend this place

My husband and I come here every Monday. This is our absolute favorite Mexican food ever. Their cheese dip and salsa is the absolute best. All the servers are wonderful, attentive, and sweet. I always get the same meal, the choripollo shrimp, and it’s perfect every time. My husband changes up his order and has loved everything he’s ever ordered. As long as they’re open, we’ll be there every week.
