It was my first time eating here and it was a great experience. The food was as expected authentic, freshly cooked, and great flavor. The restaurant was cllean, the staff were very nice and the anvience was fun, uplifting, with the music and decorations. It felt like I was in Mexico.

We live very close to this little gem & I wish we had tried it sooner. It is teeny inside but clean with just the right touches of decor. We went for breakfast. The menu isn’t huge but does have a good selection. We chose the migas & burrito. The portions seemed a little smaller than the usual platters in many Tex Mex places BUT the food was fresh, delicious, & very reasonably priced. The tea was the real deal and came in a huge mason jar & the cinnamon coffee was delicious and came in a beautiful pottery mug. The service was perfectly attentive & friendly. We will definitely be going again.

My friend introduced me to this adorable restaurant. It has seating inside and out and it was busy when we got here but we didn’t wait that bad, we got seated and we’re quick with drinks and our food order. The food was delicious and fresh, it tasted so good. I also didn’t realize when paying that they charged me the wrong receipt, I was worried that I couldn’t get it fixed but I called and the manager got it fixed right away and that was awesome. Definitely coming back!

The food was very tasty and the woman that helped me was very sweet and helpful. I have nothing negative to say! The torta bread was soft and filled with ample filling that was very tasty. The Gordita also seemed fresh with a nice amount of filling and no shortage of queso fresco. Both salsas had a great flavor with not too much heat for those that can’t take it. I think it’s hard to make breakfast food special, so I plan to come back for a lunch or dinner to see if they can get that 5th star.

The best Mexican food in town! I’m not even kidding! As a native Houstonian, I have been to a ton of Mexican restaurants here and this one is the best. From the drinks to the chips and salsa, it’s honestly all quality food. I highly highly highly recommend. Eating food this good made my whole day!

Wonderful service and delicious food. I had the menudo and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very authentic and it is a very clean restaurant. I highly recommend this spot. It is a small place, so there could be a wait if you show up later in the morning. Try it out!

Such a lovely and cozy spot! Came here for a casual Wednesday breakfast to ge the day started and let me say that this place sufficed more than just breakfast time. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by the servers and the people on the counter. We didn’t have any wait time for a table but I’ve heard sometimes there’s a wait so be prepared. The environment is very welcoming and pleasing. The food is outstanding. The chilaquiles verdes (add the two eggs and beef fajita) are a must try. They’re super filling but not overwhelming. Very delicious meal and complete on its own. The tamarind agua fresca is just right.. not too sweet not too sour or watered down. I believe this is one of those places that goes above and beyond to satisfy each and every customer, and they do it so well. Will definitely come back and next time it is to try their milanesa tortas as recommended!

Great service from the waitress. Very friendly and helpful. The thick corn chips went great with the warm salsa. The food was fresh and hot. The restaurant was clean, amd the atmosphere was hoping. Quiet enough for conversation and ambient noise enough to be private. Great choice.

The Huevos Rancheros were okay, for $8 you get 2 eggs, refried beans, potatoes and bacon.

It was a bit of a wait to be seated but while waiting, I saw several people picking up to go orders. Once seated the waitress was friendly and patient with us. We ordered the chicken flautas, Mexican coke, a cafecito and something else that I forgot the name of. The food was delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back
