EXCEPTIONAL!!! Super clean, super fresh, flavor on another level! I grew up going to Long John Silver’s in Manhattan across from Madison Square Gardne at least once a month with my family right before we’d watch the Rangers play. The memories. Well Arthur Treacher’s Selden brought those memories back. I’d pay a million dollars to go back my childhood. Thank you Arthur Treacher’s for giving me and my mom priceless memories back. Your food is so delicious, light and great prices. Service is always exceptional. I can’t say it any better. The best of the best of the best. Just go!

I have been getting delivery from this Pudgies for years & love their hush puppies. Today we ordered the norm-fish & chicken boat, side of fried clams, side of hush puppies. I asked(as usuall)to fry the clams & hush puppies very light. The clams were crunchy-when lightly fried they’re chewy. The hush puppies were also cooked too much. When I tried to break one in half, it crumbled. Cooked so much that you couldn’t taste the cornmeal! Even my dog who loves cornbread etc took a piece in her mouth & spit it out. I called to complain & she denied what I was telling her! She said she looked at it b4 it went out & they were lightly fried. I even told her that my husband had no teeth and he could not eat it cause it was hard. She insisted that if they were done any less,they would be raw. I explained that I have had them do it as I asked many times before. I was put on hold for a few minutes to hear her say she was sorry and hung up!

Every time I call for a delivery they’ve stopped taking delivery orders. I’m talking at 5-30,6 o’clock. The person on the phone showed no remorse and couldn’t wait to hang up. Why advertise that you deliver when you obviously don’t?

i can honestly say that i haven’t had a worse fast food experience than this one – ordered a cheeseburger and cheese fries and i found it harder and harder to swallow with each bite. the fries weren’t horrible, but many were undercooked. the cheeseburger, however, haunts me. there was way too much mayo and ketchup, smelled unpleasant, and tasted even worse. the texture of the patty was that of a leather shoe and had next to no flavor. i wasn’t even sure if it was actually edible. the remaining 3/4 of the burger is sitting next to me as i type this and i can’t even bring myself to look at it again. what’s worse is that i haven’t had anything else to eat all day :/ disappointed is an understatement

I have been coming here for almost a year. I either get the hot dogs or chicken, but I got curious of the bad reviews of the cheeseburgers. So I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The cheeseburger and fries were delicious. I find everything about this place worthy of 5 stars, from the food to the customer service.

Pudgies has great fried skinless chicken, in my view the best in Suffolk County. I was impressed by the young owners dedication to making sure the quality of the food and the service his staff provided was excellent. The young lady manager was also considerate and it’s clear how hard working she is, and wanted to know how I felt about the food and the service. You certainly don’t see this kind of attention to detail in most food service establishments. I recommend Pudgies Selden and it’s nice to report Suffolk County still has a great fried chicken take out restaurant!
