Known for their prime rib and fried chicken, I went with the deep fried shrimp. It was the basic standard fare when it comes to deep fried shrimp, but to their credit, the dinner included eight (8) pieces not the typical six (6). The single trip allowed to the soup and salad bar was worth it – the chicken and dumplings soup was the best ever, bar none.

Found this place about 2 years ago. The Prime Rib is superb! Sent with the fish fry this time. Didn’t let me down. Server Jim was on his game. Everything about this place is great. Highly recommended!

Great food and service. The Prime Rib is divine. The fish is superb. The soup is out of this word. If you are in the Northwoods, this is the place to stop.

Had an awesome meal here on Wednesday. We have been coming her for years, however, I believe the restaurant has changed hands. The prime rib was as good as ever. The salad / soup bar was a nice upgrade. The lobster bisque was amazing. Service was very friendly and prompt. The don’t take reservations, which is a bummer, but I get it. Looking forward to my next meal here!

Tiki bar was awesome and had games for the kids outside. We called 3 hours ahead of time and were told around 6 we could get in. We drove 60 miles for dinner. When we arrived we were told about an hour to get seated(6p.m.) 7:00 comes around and then told maybe another hour. We finally get seated at 7:55. We look at the menu quick and I decide on the 20 ounce prime rib for $67. Seems a little excessive but what the hell it is their specialty. I ordered it medium rare. 59 minutes later the food comes out and it is cooked to a texture of shoe leather…medium well to well done. I bring it to the waitresses attention and she says sorry we can’t help how it is cooked. For $67 it better come the way I ordered it. I am a prime rib aficionado and I have never paid more than $35 for a 20 ounce serving except for Wards House of Prime in Milwaukee. I personally would not recommend this place.

Phenomenal experience for dinner here. Started outside at the tiki bar, which had awesome bartenders, and moved inside a few hours later for some of the best prime rib ever, and attentive and personable service from our waiter.

Debi was awesome. Italian Sausage soup, stuffed peppers soup was amazing, salad bar was fresh & good, chopped sirloin was perfect, coconut shrimp & salmon was wonderfully done. Carrot cake excellent…aunt & uncles 63rd anniversary celebration & they treated us like royalty. We highly recommend this place. Will be back again.

This place was great all around. Prime rib was spectacular, drinks were delightful, prices were fair and service was stellar. This is the best prime rib I’ve ever had and I’m looking to go back whenever I’m in the area.

We called ahead, 5:45, said we would be their by 6:15. We were placed on the listed right away. We were told they were starting to get busy and nothing else other then to check in with the hostess when we got there. We showed up just after 6. Sat at the inside bar where we could not receive service. We had to go to the outside bar for drinks. No problem, they were under staffed. We were finally sat around 7:30. Myself and the rest of my party had the soup and salad bar which was excellent. This is where the issues really started. After sitting at our table for an hour our food had not been served and we had only seen one table receive their entrees in that time. When we talked to the hostess, owner and server the only one that felt remorseful was our waitress. We had asked to have or ordered cancelled but they apparently already started it. So we had it boxed and took it home. So disappointed.

Let me start by saying I love salt. The prime rib was so salty I couldn’t take a second bite. Debbie, our server, was wonderful. Salad bar was good, but not worth $11 pp.
