What an excellent German restaurant in a fun neighborhood in Bend. We sat at the bar last November and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and delicious with plenty of excellent beer choices on top. The food is great for one person and can be shared amongst multiple people. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for those warmer days as well. I highly recommend the pretzel to go with your beer.

Really awesome place to grab a real German lager and some excellent food. The spatzle here is thick, chunky, crispy and incredible. Schnitzel was amazing too – the gravy, red cabbage, everything.

Walked on by after our first choice didn’t pan out and decided to try it. OMFG! The Best, and I don’t use that term lightly, BEST German food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend beer cheese soup, schnitzel sandwich, and their Ayinger Celebrator if you like stout beer, or porter’s.

Customer service is awesome. I’m just not sure how excited to get about German food. Waiting 5 minutes for a beer…Not because they’re busy…It’s because of the type of pour they do. I don’t know. But I will say their chocolate cake is absolutely amazing but the rest, not something I’m coming back for.
